Can you tell me what wire size you use?

As much as the wire size is concerned, it is the ampacity of the switch that is more important. After you have determined the wire rating, match it with the switch rating.

Is it possible to use this handle in a lamp circuit as a switch?

No way, unless it's a 12 volt DC application, anyone using this in a 110 volt AC circuit is setting themselves up for a complete disaster. I have over 60 years of experience with DC and AC circuits up

When contacts are opened, how far are they from each other? With this, I'd like to switch voltages at high levels. ?

In an open position, there is a 1/2-inch separation between the contacts.

I feel like it's made of very thin material

I was wondering if you could explain the question I asked There are two holes in the middle of the switch that are clear through, so you can drive screws into them to mount it. I feel like it's made out of thin plastic, but it works. We haven't had any problems with contact so far.

Switch it on - it's a tiny little thing The shaft is a bit bendy, but overall the tool is ok for small projects and lets kids see clearly

This is a good little switch - OK quality The molded plastic is quite bendy, but in general it's fine to use for small projects since it lets kids see the signal path clearly!.

That application works perfectly with it. If you wish to use household current with this switch, I wouldn't recommend it.

You can switch between galena crystal and diode crystals if you have a crystal set (which you can use). Their size makes them seem small, but they're quite durable and they have an awesome vintage look. Looks like we're living in the past.
