It works great under the binding posts when using AWG #20 solid hookup wire. The normal size of an alligator clip jumper is a bit big.

Electric fencing is a good use for this

Electric fencing sections will be partitioned with these switches, which transmit 10kV pulses over 17ga steel wire. These are cheaper and easier to use than fencing switches, but I used a glue gun to seal the connections between the dissimilar metals of the switch plates and posts. There is corrosion induced by the process.
