What does it mean when you say it's a double throw? You depress the pedal for momentary on from the neutral position (off), right? What happens if you flip the switch the other way around?

A NC contact is closed when the pedal is not pressed, and a momentary NO contact is closed when the pedal is pressed.

I'm not sure what size it is, so if anyone knows, please let me know. ?

I'd like to use it to power a 220v 10amp meat grinder; will this work?

This switch is only a single pole switch, so I don't believe it will work for 220V. I believe the "SP" in the SPDT callout stands for single pole, but I've tested my foot switch and it is indeed single pole. br>br>For 220V, I believe you will require a double pole switch.

This foot pedal appears to be quite good; I haven't yet connected it, but it's simple to open and the wiring is straightforward. The switch on the inside is simple to replace and appears to be fairly standard.

The switch becomes unresponsive! The switch is very similar to others found on the internet

It has an aluminum casing. It is extremely light. The inside switch becomes stuck, which is my issue. I tried adjusting it with a tiny amount of electrical grease, but the switch inside became stuck, which is extremely dangerous and useless.
