The cord measures approximately 6 feet in length. I'm currently using this product, and it's a good one.
You should be able to find a replacement plug at your local home improvement store. Alternatively, look up "110-watt light bulb" on Amazon. replacement plug for volt" If you're not familiar with household electrical repair, you might want to seek professional help, but this is a simple and inexpensive fix. A good YouTube video can be found here: "How to repair the end of an extension cord."
It's a bit difficult to make out. The device's male plug is a double plug, for lack of a better term. A female receptacle is built into the male plug on the switch. You connect your device to the female end of the cable. It's worth noting that you're looking at a step-on, step-off switch. As long as you keep your foot on the pedal, the yellow light will stay on. Both are in my possession for various uses. I hope you find this information useful.

The product appears to be well-made and substantial. It's so well made that, despite my plans to remove the plug head and hardwire the foot pedal into the system, I ended up using it straight out of the box, and my wife, who uses the switch with her stained glass saws and grinders, is equally pleased.
With feed-back, it's a great design. via the plug's power Heavy cord that appears to be capable of light industrial/commercial use. I don't see how you could get a better product by spending more money.
I've spent the entire summer outside. A component of a water-recapture system in the garden. It'll last me another year if I take care of it. I also have a power line foot switch in case I need one for something else.
I looked into a few of these to use with a Shop vac in my shop. The majority of the ones I found were either dead or needed to be rewired, so this is ideal: one step to turn on and one step to turn off. It's sturdy and fits perfectly inline; a longer cord would be ideal, but there's no misrepresentation here, so you get exactly what this model is (which is still more than most at over 7'). A fantastic purchase!.
That is precisely what I was looking for! It's a big switch. It's made of solid metal. It'll last a long time; I've already put it through hundreds of hours of continuous use (as a foot pedal for my scrollsaw) and it's still going strong.
This is what I'm using on my scroll saw. I didn't want a deadman switch because it would force me to maintain foot pressure during long cuts; instead, I preferred to simply tap the switch on - I'll run the saw for as long as I want, then tap when it's finished. It's fantastic.
I have a 1940s drill press that I use occasionally. The switch is near the motor in the back. This momentary foot switch allows me to start and stop as needed without having to reach around or take my hands away from the workpiece.
I needed a foot operated foot switch to turn power off to my guitar pedal board, and 100% this does the job. For the same price, I looked at other switches that were made of plastic.
