Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Foot switch with 15 amps, 125 volts, and 1/2 horsepower for use with low-power, light-duty electrical devices
For durability and corrosion resistance, a steel-formed housing with an electro-coated finish is used.
Non-skid foot pad and base with two bolt holes for mounting to the floor or equipment for stability and safety.
Operator fatigue can be reduced by using a momentary action device with a low profile and a light actuation force.
A 14 gauge, three conductor (14/3) plug is used on the 8' cord.

Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to keep your foot on it in order for it to work, or does it simply turn on?

Only when the pedal is depressed will power be delivered to the plugged-in device. There is no such thing as a "switch." For this type of operation, it's ideal. It comes with a WorkSharp sharpening system, which I use. Excellent operation without using your hands.

Is this something like 250 volts?

It isn't suitable for use with a voltage of 250 volts. 120v

Is this an spdt switch in the traditional sense? To put it another way, does it have three wires that alternately connect different pairs of wires?

This is supposed to be used to connect "in-" and "out-" line" connecting the unit to a wall outlet The foot switch simply activated the machine's button, allowing you to operate it without using your hands. Consider the foot pedal on a sewing machine.

Selected User Reviews For Linemaster T-91-SC3A Treadlite II Foot Switch, Electrical, Single Pedal, Momentary, SPDT Wired N.O., No Guard, Black, 8 ft. Cord with 3 prong plug

It's incredibly useful! The structure is excellent!   The PERFECT combination of a cordless chop saw and a corded vacuum cleaner! (unless you're like me and don't have bluetooth)br>br>THE GOOD: Very well constructed! It's held in place by rubber grips on the bottom
5/5

When you step on it, the grip tape on the top makes it less slippery. The switch between on and off is instantaneous! It's a nice feature to be able to push on to go and then let off to stop. The cord is thickly woven and appears to be durable. THE BAD: br>br> The cord is extremely stiff, which is the only drawback. In no way is this a deal breaker. OVERALL: br>br> A well-made momentary switch that is ideal for use with a battery-powered miter saw and a corded vacuum cleaner. I wanted the bluetooth makita saw and vacuum with the auto start feature, but I bought the non-bluetooth version instead! So I use this momentary switch with my Ridgid 5HP vacuum, and it's great!.

The meat grinder will love it
5/5

This was purchased to use with my LEM meat grinder in order to speed up and simplify the processing of deer meat. Exceptional! It was simple to fill packages of ground venison and packages of breakfast sausage with just one person! Low-profile design eliminates foot cramps, and it's small enough to coil up and store in the grinder's box. I would strongly suggest it.

Low profile adds comfort; I've tried a lot of foot pedals and this one is my favorite because it doesn't require you to stand with your hips tilted, resulting in less fatigue
5/5

I've had no problems using this to control my welding position and shop vacuum on a daily basis. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it to my friends.

Suitable for a wide range of applications! It performs as expected! Because my house's wiring was done using Short-cut-style wiring, I'm using this as my garbage disposal's on/off switch
5/5

cheap- you- can- It's a power supply firm. br>br>The counter top air operated switch options available at HD or Lowe's didn't appeal to me. I've seen them overflow with water and become slimy. It's just another thing to clean calcium buildup in California's hard water.

does not perform the function of a foot switch When I ordered a linemaster foot switch, the JAWZRSIZE I received did not do what it was supposed to do

With a drill press, it's a dream come true
5/5

With a large drill press, I use this foot switch. It's fantastic! I wish I'd bought it a long time ago. Instead of reaching for the drill press's on/off switch, I can now keep my hands on what I'm working on. br>br>To use the foot switch, I simply plug the drill press's electric plug into the outlet on the back of the plug on the foot switch's cord, and then into the wall outlet. The power switch on the drill press has been left turned on. The drill begins to run when I step on the foot switch, and it stops when I remove my foot from the switch. For this purpose, the cord is more than adequate in length. br>br>Unlike some other foot switches, this one is solid, made of metal rather than plastic and flimsy. br>br>I'm going to get a couple more of these foot switches for other tools.

I've been using two different foot pedal switches to control the on/off power to my glass wet grinder and glass wet saw, and they've been working great
5/5

After ten years of use, the contact on the non-Linemaster switch failed. The T-Series Linemaster After 20 years of service, the S03 switch is still working, which is why I bought a "Linemaster" Treadlight II Foot Switch Model T-02. SC3A will be used to replace the faulty switch. The foot pedal is used to turn the equipment on and off. The pedal is made of sturdy metal rather than the plastic switches that Amazon advertises.

The design is fantastic
5/5

This is a fantastic product, and I use it to power my wire wheel and polishing arbors. Although the cord is thick (14 AWG) and the pedal is small, the cord has no bearing on the pedal's stability. The MLCS 9080 was a contender, but the Linemaster T-2000 won out. The SC3A appears to be a more practical design, and the extra 80 cents is well worth it. br>br>On the MLCS, the tool's power cord plugs into the back of the pedal, and the pedal's power cord comes out of the right side – two cords running from the bench to the floor at two different angles. A single cord emerges from the back of the Linemaster pedal - The tool plugs into the back of the pedal's plug at the mains outlet, allowing the cord to be completely hidden. The Linemaster has a very low profile, measuring less than an inch high and flat. It requires very little lifting of the front of your foot, and it has no tendency to be pushed away as you step on it because it is not at a steep angle. br>br>On the Amazon pages for the Linemaster switches, I was impressed by the specifications and photos provided, whereas the MLCS product pages were not very helpful. Fortunately, responses from several owners and a photo on eBay provided sufficient information to assist me in making a decision.
