A two-horsepower motor draws too much current for it to handle. It'd be over in a flash.
This was purchased for an ice cream blender used in a commercial setting. When I read the reviews, I noticed that other people had the same issue with a dremel. Do you have anything else you can hook it up to to see if it's a dremel issue or if the problem is with the foot pedal? I'm not sure what to tell you because it works great for my blender, even better than the original. Sorry
Yes, but it will wreak havoc on your drill.
You'll need an inverter if you're using AC.

Users of rotary tools with a shaft. Because I'm new to power carving, I purchased this item. I'm working with a Dremel 300 and Flex-It. Assembly of the shaft. You simply connect the Dremel/rotary tool to the foot pedal and the foot pedal to the wall outlet, then set the Dremel/rotary tool to its highest setting. This is much more convenient than constantly reaching to turn the Dremel off; it also works with variable speed Dremels and rotary tools. The Dremel/rotary tool, on the other hand, must be set to its highest setting. If the rotary tool and/or foot pedal are not set to the highest setting, the rotary tool and/or foot pedal may be damaged. It has rubber "feet" on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the floor, as well as mounting holes for a more permanent attachment. When using a rotary tool with a flex-blade, this is an excellent tool to have. shaft.
With this pedal control, certain types of motor speed control circuits will only yield off or full speed. The Dremel 4000 variable-speed rotary tool is no exception. This pedal will only turn the Dremel 4000 on or off once you've set a speed. Depending on how far the pedal is pushed, there is no effect on the speed. If my old MultiPro 2 speed Dremel model 285 is set to "high speed," this pedal control will give variable speed, but if the model 285 is set to "low speed," this pedal control will only turn the Dremel on or off. This is something I believe should be mentioned in the Amazon description of this pedal.
This foot pedal was purchased to use with my Dremel tool, and I am very pleased with it. It's so much easier to carve wood when I can keep my hands and focus on the task at hand rather than having to manually adjust the speed. I strongly advise anyone who enjoys using a tool like a Dremel to make this purchase.
For $39, I had hoped for a higher-quality item. I was instead given a piece of light plastic. At most, this pedal is worth $10, and $39 is a rip-off. off. br>br>It also didn't work with my 10 rpm AC motor. At the next setting, it went from off to barely turning with a little pedal pressure to maximum speed. As a result, you are OFF - SLOW- There's nothing in between MAX and MAX. There is no such thing as a linear scale. br>br>It was pointless, overpriced, and returned.
This foot pedal worked great with my off-brand Foredom type tool, and I'm considering purchasing a genuine Foredom rotary tool because I like it so much. Mostly because of the foot pedal's quality, and if they were going to make something cheap, it would be the foot pedal, so I figure that if they put this much effort into their accessories, their main items must be incredible. With the business that I'm in, I use this and my rotary tool all day, so I'm looking forward to getting my real Foredom tool! It's going to be fantastic! BUY IT NOW IF YOU'RE INTERESTED! All of you are blessed!.
The Foredom pedal works perfectly with my Dremel Multipro Model 285. I can run the Dremel at full speed or slow down to a crawl when I'm plugged into the pedal and the Dremel speed is set to high. When you let go of the pedal, the Dremel comes to a near-instant halt. I bought it to make saddle slots for acoustic guitars, but it has a lot of other applications. I would purchase this item again. br>It comes highly recommended.
For over 30 years of commercial work, I've used my foredom drill. After a while, the speed controller gave up the ghost. I swapped it out for this one, and they've improved it even more. It stays put on the floor and has a low profile, so I don't have to use my foot to find it. In addition, instead of a carbon-based material, it is solid. controller of piles.
This foot pedal is one of my favorites. I make jewelry by hand, so using your rotary tool is extremely convenient. I'm using it with a Wen rotary tool that I've hung near my workbench, and I'm very happy with how well it works. It's made of a tough plastic that appears to be quite long-lasting. The pedal has just the right amount of tension to give you the control you require. Because it's a Foredom, I know it'll be of high quality. For such a high-quality item, the price was extremely reasonable. br>br>It's no longer necessary to get up and down to turn my Wen on and off, or to adjust the speed. Did I mention how much I adore this pedal?.
