The three-phase motor starter appears to be in excellent working condition. On and off, it's very responsive. However, wiring is a difficult task. Knife blades are required for cutting knockouts. Because there is almost no room to wire inside the box, take your time and use as little wire as possible. The right top and bottom are the best places to use the knockouts. If you're replacing an old starter, keep track of the wire colors that come in and out. Your motor will run backwards if the wires are connected incorrectly, but this is true of any starter. If it runs backwards, simply switch any two wires to correct; however, getting the wire secured on the terminals with the spade jumpers for the coil can be difficult. It took some time to get used to, but it's now working perfectly. The issue is one of long-term viability. You can't beat the price for a machine that is rarely used in the first place. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The switch broke today, 5/25/21, after only being used a few times. UPDATED TO THE UPDATE! br>br>UPDATE TO THE UPDATE! The switch works perfectly; I had a broken feed in the circuit wire! After diagnosing the issue and replacing the bad wire, the switch worked perfectly again. I'm giving it a five-star rating! This unit is unbeatable in terms of price. You can buy with confidence.

This isn't something you should buy. Almost all of the components are made of thin plastic. The box is so small that you can't even get your fingers in there to fish the wires through. The knock outs must also be carved out with a utility knife, and this appears to be something that will break the first time it is bumped into.
The order was damaged upon arrival! When I requested a replacement, it arrived 5 days later, damaged! Made for a very low price! I'm never going to buy anything else!.

Both times, the unit was damaged and unusable when it arrived. We were unable to use it for its intended purpose due to the poor quality.
