As far as I am aware, I have only used this tap to clean threads on Ford ZF engines Fill and drain plugs are situated in 6 transmission In a chart I found, the equivalent decimal size of a 13/16" drill bit is 0. If starting from scratch, a 13/16" drill bit appears to be the closest. This is "8071". Please accept my sincere thanks for the help.

If you wish to tap any type of hardened steel, make sure you use a high-quality In what should have been an easy tap, tried case hardened round stock from the scrap bin for a project. It was not easy. I followed this up with Not sure if the hardened steel ate up the cutting edge on the first few threads or what, but it took a lot of effort (part tossed in lathe, live center in tailstock with buddy holding steady pressure on the back of the tap, and tapping it with Rather ghetto, I know) but I finally got the plug tap to bite. There is no way to use these to power tap in the lathe - they won't work. Could I have got a better result had I tried it on the mild steel first? I cannot give a definitive answer. The price was not too much of a problem. I finished my project, so I can't complain too much about the price, but I wouldn't count on using the paper more than two or three times. Depending on what you're using and how much money you have, it might work for a one-time project, but if you're going to do more than one hole or working with anything harder than mild steel, put the money you have into.
Taps like these would be unable to tap aluminum even if they were available. Starting with a 21, I improved to a 22. A 5mm hole is drilled in cold rolled steel for tapping. As with most taper taps, the tap started fairly easily and continued for a couple As I was using tap majic, no dry tapping has taken place. My tapping hand slid off the cutting edge as it was softer than the steel I was trying to tap. As I was checking the tap with a file, I noticed how soft it was. It is completely pointless to use these taps. Your money is not worth it.
Products that have been used or damaged. Both taps are damaged by dust or have been used. Neither of us were able to use them, and I let it go past 30 days, so I have to keep them. This product is not worth it since I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one who got a bad one.
I'm not sure what he thought of the tool, though.
It is a good tool that is very useful.
There are five metric taper sizes. The program worked just as it was supposed to.
