Using money in this manner is a waste
3/5

Suitable for the 2020 Toyota Camry but will not work on the 2017 model. I did not do anything useful with this tool other than destroy my filter and make a mess of oil. This is because the teeth are thin and do not have a rubber coating, which makes them rip into the oil filter instead of grasping it tightly. The advice I give is not to buy.

Using it for one time shouldn't have caused it to come loose
3/5

After the first time I used it, it almost tore apart, the nut was not securely fastened.

The Slip Joint 12 inch Oil Filter Pliers feature a vinyl-coated non-slip surface The handles are made of a special coating that prevents slipping
4/5

It is my responsibility to change my own oil and to maintain my vehicles. Using these tools, I was able to get a hold on an oil filter for easier The teeth on these slip joint 12 inch pliers are quite sharp, so one might puncture an oil filter with them. It would be a terrible idea if I created a tiny leak during installation and didn't discover it until miles later when my engine oil was almost This is not good! Here's a tip I wish that my hand grip was strong enough to tighten oil filters, but I would need to use a filter wrench if I don't have one. Make sure the old oil filter gasket is removed, the mounting surface is clean, and put a dab of oil on the new gasket before screwing it on and tightening it manually. I ALWAYS check the bottom oil filter access cover for leaks after my vehicle has started. Always use a JACK STAND that is appropriate for your situation! To support the vehicle, it should NOT only be supported by a post jack, scissors jack, or drive-on ramp. It is all too common to lose someone to a crush injury. They are well made of forged steel and feature a three-position slip joint, so they can be easily adjusted in size. There is a good value in these pliers. As long as I don't apply too much pressure, I can also use these for other purposes, such as on some big plumbing ring nuts, such as on a shower drain. My favorite feature of the handles is the nonslip vinyl coating. Be careful if using this product If you want to protect the teeth from sharpness, you might even wrap them with tape You can count on them to do the job. Due to the possibility of them puncturing oil filter cannisters, this has restricted my recommendation to a 4 Star rating because the packaging describes the possibility of them puncturing an oil filter cannister. My review and the information I discussed are both here. I hope you have found it valuable.

The software is easy to use and I am happy with it! In the past few decades, I have lost a significant amount of money to oil filter wrenches that do not work or do not fit the spaces intended for them
5/5

One of those universal orange plastic oil filter sockets I own is for a 5 quart fuel container. There is too much fat in the shirt for it to Furthermore, I also own one of those band clamps that slip on but guess what is wrong with it. It has no room to be used. The way I have gotten a grip on the filter over the years is by squeezing quite hard to get a grip and taking it off with a slip joint pipe wrench. mean, I'm changing the oil anyways so why should the oil filter look so good? As long as it comes off just fine, who needs to let it hang around? That's why THIS slip joint pliers that is designed specifically for oil filters is awesome! For my Chevy V8, it's a good size, and the knurling on the end of the pliers fits perfectly into the spaces on my oil filter. I even managed to turn my oil filter slightly with no damage to it because I was so excited to use Despite there being an oil leak from the low pressure switch all over the oil filter (please see my images), it was very easy to grip and move the oil filter (even though I still had to change the oil). The metal sides of the filter didn't need to be compressed to get a good hold because I had plenty of space and room. My oil filter will be changed with this tool every single time I change my oil.

The same is probably true for filters as well
5/5

My age seems to have gone up somehow. The RV dump hoses have never been an issue for me until the last year or two when they suddenly became stiffer than they were. This is all I need to know. It's a different world for them. A large adjustable wrench with three positions is, in any case, the perfect tool. Even with the handle spread at a comfortable distance, it fits perfectly on the bayonet couplers at the largest setting. My initial concern was that the tubes might be too large for the intended use, but that turned out to be untrue. The smallest filter on my computer is the one on the on-screen In the RV, a generator for the RV's 800cc engine is onboard. In the UTV, it is on the board generator. The wrench did not break when it was set to the smallest setting In the Despite the very small size, the wrench gripped those very small filters just fine.

I still have one filter that must be grabbed from the end (it is simply inaccessible any other way), but apart from that, this wrench operates as it should. In addition to offering a good grip, excellent length and leverage, and staying within anyone's price range, it also offers good durability. My experience with various design filter wrenches is about on par with most other crop/dairy farmers, but this one seems to be the best so far.

The perfect solution to my problem! Thanks! It works like a charm! I'm glad I found these because they are exactly As a rule of thumb, my oil changes are done myself, and my wife's oil filter must be hand tightened as tight as she can get it
5/5

I will have difficulty removing it when I do a new oil change. It is effortless to remove the filter with these pliers since they offer enough grip to loosen it, and then you can finish it by hand. Attached you will find a couple of pictures showing what it looks like on the underside of my wife's The oil filter is parallel to the ground, but it can be difficult to tell perspective in the picture. Even with the pliers in hand, it is possible to pass your hand through the access hole. The pliers seem to be gripping the filter in the photo attached. As the pliers arrived with an oil coating at the slip joint, the slip joint had been coated with oil. In any event, I was able to wipe most of that off using a paper towel, and the pliers still operate smoothly. In general, I would rate these as five stars (can't think of anything that needs improvement). These would also be recommended to my friends. I hope this review was helpful to you.
