What is the tapered angle, and what does it mean?

I measured 3mm across the tip, and while I haven't used it yet, it appears to be quite large. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

It should have a diameter of 2mm and a radius of 1mm.

Clean, crisp, and of high quality

I was a little hesitant about getting this bit at first, but since it came highly recommended, I figured it was worth a shot. br>I've been using it to carve Corain and make 3d models out of hard wood. WOW! It has been used for more than 60 hours and is still as sharp as the day it was purchased. They cut so cleanly that fuzzies are no longer an issue. They are now my go-to tool bits!.

This is a fantastic piece of work. I first tried it on acrylic, and it worked great (always pay attention to feeds and speeds for your particular material). Although it has a high profile, the cutting action is more visible. I haven't tried it on aluminum yet, but I am confident that it will perform to the same high standard.

Excellent value for money, and extremely sharp and long-lasting! This was my first SpeTool purchase, so I was a little skeptical

However, the bit has performed admirably in my wood CNC projects thus far! After about ten hours of use, it's still as sharp as new—but only time will tell. Excellent value for money.

I tried it on very thin stainless steel that was very mild. On the first pass, one of the flutes became chipped. a complete waste of money.

Carvings are being processed at 600ipm. This is an excellent segment. Overpriced bits with shorter shanks are far inferior. This bit has a total length of 4 inches and will allow you to get down into the crevices. On a 6hp spindle, I run these bits at speeds ranging from 300 to 600ipm. This book comes highly recommended.
