Most likely, everything will be fine. It's difficult enough already. It's only for woods that I use it for.
If you're using VCarve, I don't believe you'll need anything. I'm a big fan of VCarve, and these add-ons help me out a lot. Simply go to the toolpath tab on your toolbar. Choose the tool database you want to use. I added it to the Carving Bits list and gave it the name "Taped Ball Nose - 92°F, 0°C, 0°C, 0°C, 032, 0. 25 inches in length" Everything is done in inches for me, but whatever units you use, make sure they are accurate. I'm not sure what tip diameter bit you ordered, but just fill in the three boxes under GEOMETRY with the appropriate values, and the remaining parameters can be filled in with values from any other carving bit you have. That'll do it for now; best of luck, happy carving, and merry Christmas.
This is a phrase that I frequently use. It appeals to me. I usually run at 19,000 rpm, but I don't see why it shouldn't work at lower speeds. I usually feed at an 80-100 inch per minute rate. Stepover is, in my opinion, the key to success with this bit. I run 2010% stepover so there is no stress on the bit and I get a really smooth job and I get a really smooth job and I get a really smooth job Chip load will not be an issue with such a low stepover.

These are excellent bits that stay sharp for an extended period of time (carbide is excellent). They're strong and don't break easily. I use them on a CNC machine that requires small bits, and they perform admirably. I've purchased a few and am very happy with them.
I've used it a few times and plan to use it a lot more in the future to outline letters or objects I'm carving into wood.
This tool can be used to carve rough or finished surfaces. Time will tell how long it maintains its sharpness, but so far it has handled a three-hour carve admirably.
Hardwood bits of exceptional quality.
I should have double-checked the description's length. In any case, I'll keep it in case I decide to upgrade to a larger CNC. It appears to be of a high standard. Wll made.
I was doing roughing cuts with a 1/4" ball mill before purchasing this item, and it saved me hours of machine time. I only do finishing cuts now. It gives a good finish with 20% step over. 15% is better than nineteen percentage percent.
When running high IPM in 3D carving, this bit is extremely powerful.
