Our MT2 and MT3 end mill holders have an 8mm center hole There are 16 threads on the drawbar end. In addition to the MT4, there is a 1/2-inch hole There are 13 threads at the end of the drawbar.

In a drill press, does this work?

You can mount this on your drill press if it has a 2MORRISE TAPPER (2MT) spindle.

Can anyone tell me if harbor freight mini milling machines work?

The first time I tried it, it didn't work I am impressed by the quality of this tool

It seems well made. Putting a 1/2in dowel pin in the tool, however, only allowed it to go in a very small amount before becoming too tight to go any further. The tool I needed to use for securing the dowel pin did not go in at least a couple inches, which I needed for it to do its job. I found out it was a burr in the bore, and I used a 1/2in reamer to clean it up and make it a serviceable tool.

So be sure to check that your tool goes into the holder properly. Had I not had a reamer on hand to touch up the bore, it would have been a return and I would likely have given it a one-star rating. The Honourable John.
