It's as if someone was attempting to make a half-center and lost track of time

The "half center" was only lightly cut, making it nearly useless for attempting to get cuts as close to the piece's center as possible.

not the same as the picture As others have mentioned, what I received does not match the photo; the notch is very shallow, not blacked, and lacks a second relief

The Logan Lathe Tailstock is an ill-fitting piece of machinery

Has an MT2 taper that isn't too long. My tailstock can't handle it because it's too short. I'll need to put a spacer in place so I can use the tailstock feed handle to crank it out. Aside from that, it appears to be well-made and functions as intended.
