Accuracy is guaranteed to be within a factor of ten. Overall Length: 5.0003"; 0003"; Overall Width: 5.0003"; Overall Wid 83";

Deep groove ball bearings, thrust ball bearings, and needle bearings are all used in the live center.

Cutting fluid and dust cannot enter the center bearing because of the anti-dust seal.

The 60-degree rotating spindle is made of carbon alloy steel that has been heat treated to HRC 582 for increased rigidity and wear resistance.

a lot of runout I used a dial indicator with a 0 increment

The runout at the tip was measured at 0. 0005" per mark, and the result was around 0. 00075". Given that it's advertised as having a runout of no more than 0, that's a pretty poor runout. 0003".
