When you try to buy a good one at a reasonable price, you may go In addition to the Taiwan "V" model, there are Chinese knockoffs and Indian knockoffs of the Chinese knockoffs. There is no way to tell if you are getting what you paid for online. The difference between a four slot table and an eight slot table is one clue. The third slot is available. I have found three of these Chinese 4 slot tables that may be identical to the ones sold by bear guys for a higher price, everything was well packed, clean, and oily with nicely ground surfaces, and the inspection sheet showed compliance with the tolerances. The table and parallelism measurements I performed revealed almost no runout to be detected. I found the rotation to be buttery It makes me feel giddy to have bought it. I highly recommend this book. In this package option, the tailstock is not included.
Due to its small size, we can use it on multiple machines. As I get older, I am much more excited about moving something small, rather than something larger and heavier. I will adjust the rotary dial to get rid of the small amount of lash there is. The runout is less than 0 when I put a dial indicator on it. The number 001". With the 4 jaw chuck mounted on it, it is so easy to hold the work piece and tramme it! There was only one problem for me, the rotary dial handle didn't come with the box. However, the supplier was extremely responsive in resolving this issue, so I still give it five stars!.
