There was a lot of oil on the set when it was delivered. Because lubricating oil is used to mill and manufacture metal parts, it's common to see them packaged with the oil still on them. These, on the other hand, were covered in an unusually large amount of oil. Because all of the pieces are shipped in the display storage holder, the oil seeps into the holder's crevices, making it difficult to remove. To make cleanup easier, place some old newspaper, a flat cardboard box, or something similar on the floor when you open the package. br>br>It appears that the storage holder is a low-cost item. grade afterthought component, similar to a 3D-printed component item that has been printed I was surprised at how poor the quality was. The threaded rod slots are too small, and everything is crammed in so tightly that extracting the rods and pieces with bare fingers is difficult, if not impossible. This is a simple problem to solve. However, it appears that all of these kits are packaged in the same holder, so I guess someone just started copying designs rather than considering the holder's purpose and the environment in which it will be used. To be honest, I think I'll just toss the holder in a toolbox drawer and forget about it. Oh, and you'll almost certainly toss out the flimsy wrench that came with it in favor of a proper open wrench. It's also more likely to strip the nuts, so save yourself the trouble and get a proper wrench instead. br>br>However, I'm going to use the clamps. It appears to be quite durable. Unlike most Chinese clamp kits, this one is well-packaged and does not arrive in a jumble. For a G0704 mill, I ordered this. The 1/2" portion of the slot will fit perfectly, but you'll have to take. To fit the G0704 table, trim 018 from each side of the T. I stacked all six in the mill vise on their sides and used a 3 inch face mill to remove the material. The blue organizer is well-made and of good quality. br>This is a kit that I strongly recommend.

A RED set, the smaller of the two, already exists in my collection. I chose the BLUE set because I wanted to be able to grab it and go. The RED organizer I got was the same as yours! A BLUE organizer is also visible on the box. br>When I first opened the box, my hardware was separated from the oily hardware by a plain cardboard box. This was an excellent kit, far superior to the previous RED kit. br>When I opened the plain box, I discovered that the hardware had been wrapped in plastic wrap in groups. As I opened the individual wrappers, I was pleased to see that I was not covered in oil. The milling appeared to be of good quality, with an even, bright finish. Despite the rough threading, I expect it to clean up nicely. I really like the dark bluing, and I'm hoping it shows up well in the steel. I have not yet tried any of these, but will do so as soon as possible. br>If they could just send me the BLUE organizer I ordered, that would be fantastic.

The only issue was that the T-shirt's thread was frayed. The nuts were in such bad shape that they couldn't be used right away, so I spent 45 minutes cleaning them with a thread chaser. It was only the T-shirt that was the problem. Nuts: they're all very smooth now. Despite the minor effort required to clean them, I would still purchase this set, but it shouldn't be!.

This set is ideal for clamping odd-shaped objects. pieces in various forms I believe I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $65. I did have to remove the bottom to retrieve a short threaded rod that I dropped into a hole and the rod went down inside; since then, I've built a milling table with drawers, and the clamping kit pieces have been transferred to the top drawer. Do so at your own risk, but I also purchased a four-inch quick-release plate. I bought a slide vise, an angle vise, and a 3 inch machinist vise to go with this kit, which allows me to clamp just about anything up to 4 inches wide on my HF mini mill.

These appear to be well-made, but I haven't put them to their full potential yet. Another useful feature is that the "t" nuts have thread stops to keep your table from being damaged.
