My mill's slots are 11/16" wide at the top and 1" wide at the bottom. At the bottom, there's a 3/16" gap. The 1/2" T nut has a top diameter of 5/8" and a bottom diameter of 1". I'm aware that 3/8" sets exist; I purchased one without realizing that I required 1/2".

br>br>The caddy is a bit of a mishmash. The caddy's back is made of sheetmetal, which can be attached to a wall or anything else. The rest of the caddy is made of thick plastic. It's held up better than I expected so far. br>br>On my welding table, it's been great.
It's a waste of money. The t-shirt casting Nuts (the only truly important component for the rest of the project) do not even come close to fitting slots. I'd have to pay a machine shop to finish the rough cast nuts before they could be used on my new mill at all. I'm not going to buy any more items with actual dimensions or specifications from China's Amazon clearing house. It's not that I'm slamming China; it's just that I'm calling nonsense for what it is. I wish Amazon would remove any products or businesses where customers have complained about phony measurements. A fraction or decimal point should not be used on anything manufactured in China because it appears to have no meaning!.
All of the T nut bases were in the vicinity. The necks were about 050 too thick and 050 too thick. They're 030 wide instead of the 1/2" they're supposed to be. To fit all of the slots, I had to reduce the size of each one. The T nuts' threads needed to be tapped because they were rough cut. Before placing an order, I need to see all of these measurements.
Deburr and enlarge the slots in the strap clamps are on the list of things to do. I had to tap the T nuts in order for them to work. br>But hey, they're functional.
The nuts on the bolts are so loose that they tend to jam and cock. I have three sets of these, all of which work fine, but this new batch stinks.
It performs as expected. Everything is kept in one place with the help of a storage rack.
I needed to shave a few inches off the t-shirt. To get them to work on my mill, I had to go to extraordinary lengths. br>Material of good quality, with good threads.
Love it.
