It's a nice set, and it's well-priced

I do a lot of work with aluminum and mild steel, and I find that short bits work best in most cases. These letter sizes nicely fill in the gaps between fractional drills, and they frequently result in better tapped holes. I mainly use a drill press with these. There are no chips or off-center points, and the points are well-ground. This is a good product at a reasonable price.

High-quality HSS with an accurate uniform grind and no runout. Stub length is beneficial for a vertical mill because it reduces the number of setup changes required between milling and drilling operations. In some cases, it may also be unnecessary to drill the center or spot. On shanks, the size markings could be more accurate. I'd like to see a short drill index for short bits as well. There is a great deal of empty space.
