I received a five-pack of Torx 25 bits in a cardboard box with a plastic blister covering them. It's not at all sloppy. Other Bosch bits, I'm guessing, are packaged in a similar fashion. Thank you for your interest.

I was frustrated with the free torx bits that came with the screws when I built an 800-square-foot deck. Each of these would result in a five-fold increase in the number of people driving. Before they became damaged to the point where they would stick in the screws and pull out of the holders in my drill and impact driver, I used 10 screws. I came across these and decided to buy them because I've had good luck with Bosch parts in the past. Wow, what a difference! br>br>Wow, what a difference! All of the decking screws were installed by us - They number around 5000 - Only two bits are used! And the only reason we used two was because we were using two different drivers at the same time; I doubt that a single bit would have lasted for the 5000 screws. br>br>I'm only buying Bosch parts from now on.
Disclaimer: I haven't put these through their paces long enough to make any claims about their durability. I'm counting on Bosch to be a well-known brand that goes above and beyond to please its customers. I'm also on the more laid-back end of the spectrum, so I won't be running these for 6 hours a day, and I doubt I'll have any problems with that; they fit snugly on whatever brand T25 screws I got from [home improvement store]; They shouldn't wear out too quickly; in fact, they should last for years. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be If you'd like to use the snap-together method, Be aware that magnetic screw holders that fit on these narrow shaft bits are too short, especially the Dewalt magnetic sleeve that comes with the kit: The bits from Dewalt are a little bit longer. I'm not sure if any other brand's magnetic ring snaps together like this one does. Bosch will be our partner. I'll post an update once I figure it out.
They couldn't be worn out by a swarm of Boy Scouts working on an Eagle Scout project. well. These bits were purchased for an Eagle Scout project in which several scouts would use power drills to construct a walk bridge across a swamp in a nature preserve. This was a fantastic addition. I don't know what to compare them to other than the fact that they were used by a group of inexperienced scouts (kids) aged 12 to 17. Some components wore out more quickly than others, but this was mostly due to user/operator abuse.
I bought these because I wanted a little more length than the very short bits. They're fantastic and don't wear out as quickly as some cheaper alternatives. I always seem to lose these before they're completely worn out. However, once you've used them for a while, you can sand the tip flat to give them a little more life when they start to round out.
PROS: It must be manually held in place. They appear to be well-made and should last for a long time. The shaft fits snugly and correctly in the chuck of the impact driver. CONS: br>br> The pieces are a little short. sized and wobble in a T25 screw head (but not enough to cause it to slip).
I like how long the Bosch bits last. The Phillips are fantastic, so I expected the Torx to be just as good. Unfortunately, the screws are a little sloppy, causing wobbling when used quickly. When I compared the bits to Milwaukee bits of the same type and size, the Milwaukee bits were far superior. For Phillips, Bosch is the way to go (I can put my driver into a horizontal screw and hang it from the screw!). Milwaukee is the place to go for torx.
I have one in each impact driver, and I expect to get another 2500 out of them. The paint at the tip is the only thing that has worn away on them. They're a little long for tight spaces, but I have a short tip for them that came with the screws.
I bought a box of deck screws with a TORX head size of 25. One small drill bit was included in the box, which could easily be misplaced in the grass! It's also possible that it'll break down over time. This Bosch 5-pack of 25's is larger, likely stronger, less likely to fall and lose, and should last a long time with spares for future needs such as fences for my grown children and neighbors with work fences. A great deal on a high-quality drill bit!.
