It is true, however it is very poor. Bits from Drexel were designed to operate at high speeds (20,000 - Drills can only push a maximum of 1000 or 2000 pounds at a time. It will be a long day of work for you. THERE IS A CATCH In short, yes. If you buy a Dremel, you will not curse as much while you are doing the job.

The first time I have carved this way was years ago. In the photos, you can see my first piece completed with 95 percent using.
Despite being a flame burr, it has excellent cutting properties. It is advisable not to drop this burr on any hard surfaces. That's what I did. I destroyed its tip on one side. However, it does not cut as well as it used to. Instead of buying a different brand of burr, I padded the floor around the area I work in and bought a second one. Your product is my choice among the best aggressive rotary burrs on the market right now. It's great work you're doing. Keep it up.
It does not get caked up and they hold up for a long time. I sometimes have a heavy hand when I'm carving, and they never fall apart. Cuts like new even though they are still in excellent condition. It's a little slow when I order directly from them -- I ordered from them directly and it's slow! If you want to order from Amazon, you'll have a much better experience. There is not much difference in pricing between the two.
If you are a power carver like myself, you know how the flame burr jumps if you go too deep on the first pass (everyone does it). Well I went a little too deep, and the burr warped, making it unusable. My efforts were even painstakingly focused on straightening the bent portions and making sure that it was properly seated all the way in the chuck, but it still didn't work. Yes, the view is warped once I am dissatisfied with this burr, it could be a factory defect or the burr was never tempered right. I am not sure but I will be looking at other brands in the future.
The value for price is very good. The product lasts a long time. Each of the attached photos was taken with the flame burr. The product is great and I would buy it.
I got this as a gift for someone, so I can use it on a Dremel 8050n micro. I think this thing looks like a mini medieval torture device. It cuts wood like butter when cranked up to the highest level of rpm. Having only seen it work on wood, I can only imagine that it is just as effective on other materials of the same There is a way to remove far more material quickly with this tool compared to any of the basic tools which came with the Dremel.
However, this does what it says. It's like sandpaper, which you put in your drill and you touch it to the wood and it shaves off the wood! I like it because it digs in well and has a nice look to it at slow speeds, making it appear as though you hand-carved certain portions of my carving.
Kuttall burrs are a very good value for the price, but they are also.
