It is not something I would do. They will probably cut soft metals, but I have seen so far that bed frames (metals) are too hard to cut. You will need to use

It took only two days for me to receive the burrs, and they are extremely inexpensive. Wood, aluminum, and mild steel are all great to work with. I was extremely satisfied with them, as they are extremely sharp, have no wobble, and showed no wear after using them. They will be bought again by me. HF sells their burr set for 60% more than this set of burrs, so if they are as good as they look, one set will be enough to finish the job. These burrs are absolutely fantastic at 60% less than what HF sells.
When I bought these, I was half expecting that they would dull out quickly. My turbo (cast iron housing) needed to have the port enlarged, and it no problem cutting it. It didn't take me more than 10 minutes to open up the hole and radius the Also, the guy who installed the manifold cleaned up all the casting on it, and neither of the pieces looks worse for wear.
I have not used it much yet so I am not sure how long it will last. However, I used it as little as I could. I was very happy with its performance.
My steel bit kept returning after cutting some pretty hard steel with this. It got super hot, picked up lots of heat, and kept cutting!.
I got them just as I got them! They're still working like new!.
There was a lot of packaging on these. My favorite part about these burrs is how crunchy they are. I can rely on them to perform the job I need.
To remove the mounting hole on my tractor's offset drawbar, I had to “egg out” the hole. steel with NO problem and in no time. I know you don't need these kinds of tools often, but it still pays to keep them on hand just in case you need them.
I got a Burr set that works as well as other sets that are more expensive.
