We just finished replacing our incandescent light fixtures with these fantastic units. They're fantastic, with plenty of light and a tight seal against spiders and other insects. Except if you want to dim them, they don't require special wiring. We purchased these in three stages, so I'm sure we'd purchase them again. You, bet.

When the lights are turned on, they flicker

Interference from other electrical circuits, such as those that power garage door openers, is extremely dangerous to lights. The lights flicker and are very distracting, especially after warming up. br>The company will not accept them back because my Amazon return window closed before I could install them. br>These lights are not something I would recommend. Switch to a different manufacturer or brand!.

Good price, plenty of light, and a high rate of failure

These are what we use in our parking garages. They are excellent value for money, but they appear to be failing at a faster rate than expected. We had a sloppy neutral feed, which could have contributed to some of the early failures. We've had them in our parking garage for about three years, and I'm now buying four at a time as they expire.
