Yes, for example, in my horse area, I mounted it to a 24 foot x 4 inch pole, which was blown down by Hurricane Michael on October 11th, 2018. When it came time to clean up, the pole was on the ground, but the light was unharmed, so I reinstalled a pole and re-mounted the light. used the light, and it's still on tonight, two years later
The bottom is 4 inches wide and the sides are 3 inches wide.
It must be hardwired to your home, structure, or whatever you are lighting. You should hire a licensed electrician.
It has consistently appeared at dusk. We've had a few below-freezing nights, and the light has always performed admirably.

This light is pretty bright, so I mounted it on a shed in my front yard so it would light up the driveway for free. Now we have plenty of light to see where we're walking at night, and it's been up for about a month with no problems. It was very easy to wire with only three wires, easy to mount with only three bolts, and mine didn't have any dip switches to adjust, which was nice.
This product stopped working after two months, and finding warranty information for the next five years is a pain in the neck. My grandfather wanted this, and he is adamant about returning items that don't work, especially when they come with a 5-year warranty. As a result, there were no high hopes for this.
The light is extremely bright. My wife has requested that we reduce the volume. )br>br>I'd been meaning to get an LED light installed in the garage for a while, and it's been nice to have one again. Now we have a semblance of safety.
To begin with, the items arrived with broken parts inside the assembly (pictured) and fingerprints all over them. As stated on the package, this indicates that the Chinese manufacturer has done a poor job of quality control. I strongly advise consumers against purchasing this product.
For a 35-watt bulb, it's quite bright. I prefer a slightly yellowish color of light, around 3000 Kelvin, because 5000 is too bright, but this one was only $25 and I couldn't find another at that price, so I painted the metal portion white to better match my house. I bought four of them to replace my 70 watt sodium vapor lights because they use less energy and are brighter near the house. Although the light does not travel as far as a 70 watt 3000 Kelvin bulb, I prefer the close brightness and energy savings. It was simple to set up because it came with everything you need, including a small wrench.
When I took it out of the box, my husband told me it was too small to return. In any case, I had my son set it up. Ha! This has a lot of contrast. Although it appears to be small, it is quite functional. As a result, my husband had no choice but to acknowledge that it was an excellent purchase. We put it on a pole barn and had a hard time getting the screws into the wood, so I gave it a three for installation. The screw isn't long enough, and accessing it with a drill is difficult.
A rattle accompanied the arrival of the light. When I opened the case, I discovered a dangling electrical component. It had been poorly glued together and had come apart, so I reattached it before attempting to attach it to my barn - however, the "self-awareness" Drilling pilot holes into soft white pine 2x6s was required because "tapping" screws were not available. However, one of the screws broke before I could complete the installation - Metal that is extremely soft. So, after I fixed the light and replaced the screws with real metal self-tapping screws, I was ready to go. It's a great way to tap screws.
So far, everything has gone well. The lights are bright, and their wattage is close to that of the rated wattage. Obtaining 32 watts at 116VAC necessitated the fabrication of a heavy bar between the bolts and the installation of a spacer beneath the mounting tube to clamp to the mounting tube, 1- EMT conduit is 1/4 inch in diameter. To install the cover, it needed to have the end punched. EMT conduit is 1/4 inch in diameter. When the lux is low, the light comes on quickly, indicating that there isn't much wasted energy. When the light is dark and power is applied, the light comes on quickly. The casting along the tube area at the mounting points is very thin, and one of them broke during installation, but it was repaired and put back into service.
