Questions & Answers
There is no on/off switch on the light itself. It screws into the socket in the same way that a regular light bulb does.
Why would you want to do that, though? They're great in the barn or garage, but as a motion section, they'd be a waste. The proper light, on the other hand, is less expensive and can be used outside, whereas these cannot.
Yes. This is a fantastic light. The light can be adjusted by moving the "wings" up and down.
It doesn't have to be a lot, but it does have to be in a public place.

This light is extremely bright, but it is also very gentle on the eyes. It's about the size of a soccer ball in size. We had no trouble seeing into our 24 ft garage's four corners. The light is screwed into the socket you already have. It was as simple as switching out a light bulb. We were so happy with the lights that we ordered more as Christmas presents!.
During installation, the inner portion of the extender came loose. In general, it's a shoddy light. Avoid it like the plague.
Without having to open the garage door, I can finally see. I have a good view of the garage from all four sides. It's a dazzling display. It performs admirably. The quality of my photo isn't great, but this light is incredible!.
It was the light that had gone out! I'm glad he heard it because it could have started a fire in the garage. br>br>I'm a retired electrical engineer, and I discovered that the problem with these lights is that the screw-in connectors are broken. The shell is barely attached to the conductive portion of the fixture, and the electrical current of the light caused a poorly connected screw to overheat and begin to melt, resulting in arcing and noise. The extension failed first; I then installed just the fixture in the outlet, and it also failed when the very fine wire broke off at the fixture screw-in point. shell. br>br>In one photo, the extension's overheated parts, one of the screws, and the screw-driver are all visible. The extension's shell. The thin wires to the fixture screw shell failed, as shown in the other photo. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE! br>br> They're on the verge of causing an accident! Even if they are marked as CE approved, they must be UL listed. To get this listing, I seriously doubt they went through the proper testing.
This was purchased to provide lighting for our small attic. I only had one socket to use, so I went with this one. It's incredibly bright for its size, and being able to angle the light "blades" was crucial in this case. For the money, this is a fantastic light!.
With very high ceilings, it's a garage for cars. This light was installed in the first stall's ceiling by me. Unfortunately, the light is so glaring that it's difficult to see where you're going in the garage. There isn't any way to change it. When you leave my house, you enter the garage in the middle stall, and the glare is so bad that looking straight ahead is uncomfortable, and looking to the side where the bulb is located is nearly impossible. To reduce glare, there is no way to change the light's direction. The light is effective in that it illuminates the area well, but it is extremely bothersome if you are not directly under the light. I might use these in another situation, but I wouldn't have bought more than one if I'd known how bad the glare was.
In my garage, I have this light. My old 60 watt light bulb was dim and difficult to see with. This new light is very bright and white, and you can see how white and lit up the garage is with this Led light, despite my messy garage. You can also direct the light in any direction you want.
These lights are extremely bright, and they performed admirably for the first three weeks after installation. On one of the units, only about half of the LEDs are working, and the other unit flickers at random. I would not recommend this product; instead, I will return it and purchase a different garage product.
