Although it is not a spot light, I gave it a practical test by shining it up at my 30 foot high eaves, which are illuminated by the light, which is mounted on my garage at a height of about seven feet six inches. br>Around 28 miles away. The eaves were actually better lit than on a typical afternoon, measuring 5 feet point to point (garage is detached). Expecting it to work for you should not be a problem. My first thought when it comes to lighting performance is lumens. Most other 100 watt spot lights are outperformed by these LEDs. br>Best of luck and may God continue to bless you!
It's a deep dark slate color, rather than black or bronze. Finished in a matte powder coat. Mine have been on the house for over a year and have never given me any problems.
Because it is a darkness sensor, I believe it would work there. I believe there would be a problem if it was placed too close to the overhang, as the light would reflect back on the darkness sensor, causing it to believe it was now light enough outside to turn off. For me, the company's customer service was excellent.
I'm not sure what you're looking for, but this lamp is fantastic. It's adjustable, and the light is a pure, bright white. My next-door neighbor, who installed it, said he uses these lights for commercial clients.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a light, and this one had excellent reviews, so I went ahead with caution, especially since it came with a 10-year warranty. br>To my surprise, this light is amazing; I'm using it as a flag light and have it turned all the way up. Everyone, including myself, seems to enjoy it. It is well-made and reasonably priced, as well as being extremely effective. br>Now, I had a problem, so I emailed the seller, and I discovered that they provide excellent customer service, and I have no complaints.

br>I've been in the process of replacing metal halide bulbs with LEDs for about 1 1/2 years and have had no problems I've tried a few different LED wall packs and found that this 30W by Kadision is very nice; it's easy to mount thanks to the punch outs in the back, and the materials seem to be of decent to high quality. The gaskets aren't made of cheap foam, and they use a caulk/waterproof material to seal the hole where the wire exits the junction box. If necessary, the dusk to dawn sensor can be bypassed by simply unplugging it from the inside; the aluminum housing appears to be in good condition, and the fins should aid in heat dissipation. Because the LEDs are visible through the glass, they can be a little blinding (if you look at it directly, which you shouldn't). Overall, I'm pleased, and the ten-year warranty appears to be a good deal, but who knows how long they'll last? Other lights with a similar appearance exist, but one in particular had the wiring coming out of the top. I returned them because they were not what I needed. The light can be adjusted, which is useful for directing the light where it will be most effective while also being considerate of your neighbors and not blinding them. Finally, according to the listing, the light is ETL certified, which means it passes the same tests as UL and is approved by OSHA. In conclusion, the light appears to be of good quality, with good parts, a good warranty, and ETL certification.
I bought two of these (one at a time to test them out) to light up my front and back walkways from my garage. These took the place of existing 150W x 2 ea. lights. Flood lights, etc. They perform admirably and are ideal for my requirements. These are far superior to the flood lights I replaced; they are well-built, have a heavy-duty metal case, and emit the same amount of light as an incandescent flood light of the same wattage. These are 35 watt LEDs in daylight white. Wires are the ideal length for easy wiring and are easy to mount. There are a couple of quality issues that need to be addressed, but nothing that would prevent me from purchasing it again or recommending it to others. The LED transformer was not affixed to the light housing on the first light, so it was bouncing around in shipping. Fortunately, nothing broke. The allen screw for the light's lateral adjustment was stripped on the right side of that same light. The light is sufficiently heavy that both right and left screws are required to keep it in place. My light is fine the way it came in the mail, so it's not a problem, but it would have been if I had to adjust it to 90 degrees.
White light is uniformly bright and evenly distributed. br>br>It was very simple to set up. I did not remove the dawn/dusk switch. There are three wires that must be connected. Solid and water resistant. br>br> It appeals to my tastes.
If you bought this at HD or Lowes, it would cost three times as much for the same quality. The light is very bright. It can be used as a dark sky light and illuminates a large area. It pivots to a full 90-degree angle. Installing it required some mechanical knowledge and tools, but it was simple because the mounting plate could be removed and replaced first.
The first one had a corner broken off when it arrived - Maybe it's a return and it wasn't in the packaging when it was dropped, I reasoned. Amazon provided me with a replacement. The top hinge peg broke off during installation. I didn't dare to try a third time because the sun was shining brightly. The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor is a nice touch. My guess is that the cast aluminum isn't of the highest quality.
It's been a dream come true. I needed something to illuminate the front of my store at night without blinding my neighbors. You can place this light so that it brightens up your space while not shining into your neighbors' windows. You want the light where you want it, not wasting it elsewhere. I'd get another if I had a need for light somewhere else that justified it.
The advertised lumen output and Kelvin scale ratings appear to be accurate. The solar cell is a little sensitive, and the angle adjustment is a little clunky (hard to be precise), but for dawn to dusk LED outdoor lighting, it's a great investment. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a second one.
