Throughout the second half of this year, I installed nine of these LED street lights. Rainwater getting into the lamp and damaging the photocells and power supplies has caused two of them to fail so far. They are quite bright, but I strongly advise that the two compartments on the top of the lamp be opened and silicone-sealed before installation.

The initial installation was simple, and the wiring diagram was straightforward. We mounted ours on a 2" rigid conduit pole 22 feet high and ran 12 THHN down the pole to a junction box. The light is controlled by a single pole 20 amp breaker in the panel. The LED lights don't draw a lot of power, so a 15-amp breaker should suffice. For us, having a photocell is essential, so we were pleased that the light came with one. We should have aimed our light a little higher to spread it out more evenly. Right now, it's powering a 50-watt light bulb. The circle is 60 feet in diameter. br> There are only a few options that I wish the light had. It would be ideal if it came with a mounting bracket that allowed for the addition of additional lights, as well as a wiring diagram that specified the appropriate breaker size.

So it appears that there is a guarantee. Our light stopped working just over a year after it was installed. The warranty is supposed to be emailed to ledmo, according to everything on this site. However, it is inconvenient to be unable to locate an email address or other contact information. It's so aggravating.

The lights are extremely well-made, attractive, and bright. I ordered a few and had a problem with two of them, for which the company (Amy) responded quickly and assured me that the lights would be replaced. I'll be retrofitting another parking lot soon, and I'll definitely re-install the system. These lights should be ordered.

We have a large yard, and this light suffices in keeping it illuminated at night. The product is excellent, and the delivery is quick. Customer service is also very helpful. It was simple to install because we already had a yard light in the same location. We did have to add a 2 1/4 inch fitting to make it work, but it fit perfectly and we love it!.

Overall, the light is pleasant. br>br>However, as electricians, we do not have access to mechanic tools. On this light, everything is in metric, including the massive Allen socket that is required to adjust the light angle. br>br>In my service truck, I assumed I had every tool imaginable. To adjust the light, I had to order a colossal metric Allen tool, which was unusual engineering. I've tried several of these types of fixtures and have never experienced this issue.
