Yes, it has a built-in photoelectric eye that turns off the light at dawn and turns it back on automatically at dusk.
To me. It's a deep, dark color. However, it appears to be a very dark black. It has a brownish hue to it.
I just measured the diameter of the pole on which my light is mounted, and it measures 2 1/2". The bracket is a perfect fit for that pole. I believe that: 1. Although 3" is a little thin, you or a contractor might be able to adapt it with a different bracket. I hope this information is useful.
It doesn't appear to be designed for 240V. Ours was powered by 120 volts and worked perfectly. There might be a way to wire with 240 volts, but I didn't look into it. Try using a Hot Leg with a common and ground voltage of 120 volts.

We haven't mounted it yet, but we've connected it to power and it appears to be up to the task. At our church, we're going to use it on a small outdoor basketball court. At a later time, I will post a photo. The lamp appears to be well-made. Although it is a little heavy, I get the impression that it is of high quality. If I say it's bright, believe me when I say it's bright. Simply holding it above my head illuminates our church's entire side. Update! br>br> I must say, we are very happy with this light now that it has been installed. This is an extremely bright light. A basketball half court with two goals is available in our outdoor play area. It illuminates the space in a way that is almost as bright as natural light. br>With 300 watts and a luminous output of 40500, we have far more light than we require.
The light is bright enough, easy to install, and has a high quality feel to it. If there are any issues, I will update the review. br>Update 9. 19- I still think it's a great light, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
This has a lot of contrast. Unfortunately, I have only plugged it into the wall and have not yet installed it. However, the light sensor functions properly and is of high quality. I don't have any complaints.
This light, on the other hand, far surpassed my expectations. I went for the 150-watt model. I was pleasantly surprised by both the build quality and the materials used. It was as easy as it could possibly be to put together. I was concerned that because my light pole is only 16 feet tall, it would not be able to distribute the light evenly. From a 16-foot height and a 20-degree angle, it illuminates my entire half-acre lot. This is a light that you will not be sorry to buy.
This unit did not come with motion detection. Very sturdy and well-built.
On a grain elevator, this 300 watt LED replaced a 1500 quartz light. I have a lot more light around the grain site and yard now. br>It was also delivered quickly, and I am very pleased.
My customer was very pleased with the light and the quick service we provided, and it was all due to this vendor's quick shipping. br>br>Just make sure you're familiar with electrical systems or hire a professional electrician to ensure your safety.
I BOUGHT THESE ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND SO FAR, THEY HAVE BEEN AMAZING! br>THEY LIGHT WELL AND ARE A FRACTION OF THE COST OF BUYING THEM IN A RETAIL STORE.
