As stated in the description, it will fit 1 3/4" thick doors. The specifications, however, state that it will fit 1 3/8" thick doors. Can it fit a door of what thickness?

I am going overseas and my door appears to be 1" 9/32. Do you think I will still be able to use this?

By 3/32" it would be bigger than you need, so it should be a decent fit.

I needed a fix for a hole left by a deadbolt that had been removed

This was just what I needed. There was no longer a need or use for the deadbolt and this was a simple and attractive way to cover that hole without filling, sanding, and refacing. Adding a coating.

According to the description, the item arrived. It was wrapped well in protective plastic to keep the brushed nickel finish safe. We should protect the corners of our doors so they look nice.
