I had run out of the emitters I was using, and being so cheap, I thought I would try these since they were so good. Well, you pay for what you get. There's nothing good about them. The drop irrigation took me such a long time to install this morning, and I was so exhausted when it was done. In over half of the cases, there is no success. There isn't a drop to be seen. In that case, I will be working tomorrow instead of taking advantage of my time The one I replace it with will hopefully work. I'll spend the day cutting off horrible things and hoping the one I replace them with works. There was fun to be had.
I found these to work well when I initially installed them. In a few weeks, I began to notice that my plants needed more There were several drippers that didn't work when I checked them. The minerals in my water plugged them up due to the hardness of the water. As long as your plants have good water, they should be fine, but if you're on a well, be sure to watch
Use of the water caused two zucchini and a honeydew to die.
It was a mistake to buy some knockoff emitters and spaghetti tubing at Walmart. All of the spaghetti tubing was punctured with pin holes. What causes that to The emitters were a complete waste of money as well. Blowing right off the tubing is what would happen. A new irrigation system was added to my existing one. You get what you pay for, as evidenced here. As always, Raindrip products have been my favorite and I plan to stick with them in the future.
As of now, 6 out of 26 need to be changed out because water cannot escape. As a result, I am predicting that 12 out of 50 are The price is great, but you should expect at least 10 bad copies and you really are getting 40 good copies.
So far, two out of around forty I have used have blown apart under first compression, so I don't know if they are inferior copies or simply poorly made. In front of the pressure regulator are two valves. Except for the fact that I cannot fully rely on them not to fail unexpectedly and drop the pressure in the system, it wouldn't be a big deal.
The drippers were used to replace drippers purchased from Home Depot that were DIG brand. The DIG drippers (30 drippers on hoselines) failed 50% of the time either by failing to drip at all or by dripping too much or not enough. This dripper is by far superior to the previous one. Regardless of the device, the amount of water released remains the same. We all learn from our experiences.
It is hard to imagine how these are 2 GPH or pressure-compensating. The water just gushed through them when I got them from Amazon. Using different pressures between 10 and 50 psi, I got the same results with the four measurement channels Each hour, 5 gallons of water are extracted. Despite installing them correctly and using different drippers from the packaging, the results were the same. A complete waste of time and resources.
It has been over 20 years since I purchased this product. It is the first time that the quality is so poor. The amplifiers' plugs are partially plugged, and about 20% actually came apart. It is certain they are experiencing major quality problems. It would be best to avoid buying this model until they resolve the problem.
