My knowledge is that this does not work. Basically, the whole idea is that the bottle releases the water as needed to irrigate the plants.

You can do this by getting a spoon and scooping dirt out of the spot you intend to install that spike. Basically they are clay so yes, they are quite fragile. Important to remember (something I neglected when I first got mine) is that if your plant absorbs a lot of water, you should press the stake in all the way to the top. You can only push the stake in halfway or less if you have a plant that does not want as much water and prefers being given water at a slower rate. Providing the stake is pushed in as level as you can and is not leaning to one side, you can easily balance a regular sized beer bottle without having it tip over despite the stake not being pushed in all that It takes a ton of water to take care of my one plant. A large bottle of wine balanced perfectly inside the stake with the help of this stake. Please leave a comment for the type of bottles you put in here the instructions show a specific type of bottle that works well for this product. This is an amazing product I have since purchased ten more boxes because my home is filled with 70 big plants, many of which are very sensitive. We guarantee you won't be disappointed when you order some.
Terrain on which I previously worked The cotta spikes are still in good shape. In contrast to the previous batch had a round opening and a hexagonal ridge that provided reinforcement, the new batch was round with a round ridge at the top. I replaced them and all of them broke after a week or two from the weight of the If this is the new design, we are hesitant to order again.
They were According to the advice I heard, the best way to get rid of these insect pests is to keep the soil dry because gnats like moist areas to lay their eggs and feed on the roots of plants. In my limited experience with gnat nix, I've covered the top of the soil with the stuff and have been using the stakes for about a week and so far, I've had no gnat problems. As a result, I now do not have to worry about watering my plants when I travel. The winner takes it all. In the coming days, I will watch to see how the stakes are taken up by the plants. The first 30 days have gone well, so far.
I had hoped for better results, but it worked even better! The company clearly states that they are willing to replace any broken items that broke during shipping if they arrive broken. One of them was broken when I received the package. I travel quite a bit, with little notice. Due to the fact that I would be shipping them out within days of receiving them, I honestly didn't ask how it was. I loved the ease of use, which made this such a great purchase. I like them because they don't get clogged and don't have to be filled up like glass bubbles do. Some of my friends donated their empty liquor bottles as well, as I didn't have any wine bottles. The two things I dislike the most about anyone A vodka bottle from Costco was designated as the vessel for the favorite plant's water. It was a pleasure working with you! The second "stake" did break as I tried to sit it properly in the planter, so I'm cautious. However, you can water a plant with one stake for at least two months depending on how thirsty the plant is, provided the plastic bottle is large enough.
The summer months in Texas are usually difficult for me to maintain a proper water level for the plants. A lot of useful information has been provided by these stakes. You must keep these things in mind, however, if you want them to work as advertised There are three factors to consider the size of the pot, the volume of the bottle, and the exposure to heat and sunlight. As you may have gathered, I work with stakes in a number of The lime tree that I plant in a large container is growing nicely. There was one loaded with 750-gram stakes, and the other with a 500-gram stake Water bottle with a mL capacity. I will give my tree a good soak at least once or twice a week in the summer, as it seems to be doing well so far. It's in a 12-foot-wide pot that I have a rosemary bush inside A 12 in. pot with a 750-millilitre capacity I have been using a mL bottle, which has worked well. As Rosemary likes slightly drier soil, the stake is excellent as it encourages the plant to do a bit of self-pruning The plants should be grown in smaller pots (6- to 8-inch) In order to meet the dimensions (10 inches by 8 inches), I am using one 500-ml The plastic bottle is lighter, so we use a mL bottle in each. Half of a wine bottle inverted on its side may tip over a couple of pots, but the full bottle could tip over the larger pots We have used 3-liter bottles, and they have lasted for three months After 4 days of use in partial shade and hot weather, the bottle will need Since my herbs are protected from the sun, I don't have to worry about them getting sunburnt. After I missed a day of watering, there were a lot of cracks. Even though all my plants are outdoors, I imagine the stakes would last a week with indoor plants if the water they contain was used on them. It isn't entirely clear how durable the stakes are, but the tools that came with them are fine for digging a hole in the potting soil for the stakes to fit into.
THE UPDATE IS When I saw my review, the seller got in touch with me immediately. I give five stars to the company for making sure that its customers are satisfied. Showed how stakes are to be used properly. I was given the option of ordering a new set or getting a refund I could choose whichever I preferred. It was very impressive the level of customer service delivered by this seller. Due to the customer service response, I've changed my rating to 3 stars. I know that they worked for others, even though they did not work for me. I inserted them incorrectly, could it be a bad batch, the soil, or how I did it? Despite that, I continue to remind people to take care of them because they are very fragile. I just couldn't get any benefit from these. My collection has been around for a while. Plants do not slowly drink water from bottles, water just evaporates gradually from them. will stay dry for a long time. There's almost a difference between the outside and inside, as if they're treated with something. Following a quick rinse with water, they were dry in no time. Several days later I discovered the plants were dying from lack of water, even after being immersed in the dirt for a few days. After a time, plants can no longer absorb water and the water There is apparently a problem with clay brittleness and some of the pieces have broken off. The money I spent was wasted.
I live in the South, and I have a tiny front yard and a front porch where I use window boxes and pots for blueberry bushes, geraniums, Mediterranean herbs, and so on to use my space effectively. The summers are really hot and I have to ensure the plants are well hydrated or they will wither and die. A solution to the problem can be found in these terracotta watering stakes. The rain bottle of water delivers water very slowly to the plants exactly when they need it. No overwatering nor dries out plants with the rain bottle. You can easily check the bottles, too, so you know when they need to be refilled.
