Standard hose about 3/4in diameter for the threads on this thread end. An irrigation drip hose connection end of between 1/4" and 1 1/2" is required.

An end of one of my sprinkler lines contains a sprinkler head, which is for cleaning. Can I use the ocke of the sprinkler hose?

An A 66468 termination is used if a 1/2 inch drip tubing is to be terminated. With this unit, you do not need to install 1/4 inch tubing as an emitter with one adapter.

Would it work to cut back the 12" drip lcoporation line. ?

It isn't really an issue. As soon as you get good pressure on it, it probably opens up. This tool will tighten your pipes to 2 inches long and provide a tiny pocket to fit in the line. You can also attach this tool to two wooden poles in order to protect them against damaging effects by strong winds or extreme storms. As for what works best, I believe the 1/2" CPVC is what works, however, it wasn't very good right away. A 2-inch piece works best. To buy PVC pipe, check that the hose is 3 inches long at the hardware store to see if it fits well.

With the exception of an event where my machine blew up twice in the past 18 hours in my garden, which I installed the device in, it's not worth your time

I found myself having to deal with the waste of water which soaked down my plants each time it blew up. I don't think the item has been reliable enough so I will attempt to return it.

How wonderful!! In my mind, this cap looked like a reducer cap, since the connection seemed so long, but it in fact is one half an inch irrigation end cap, and that is what they really describe

Unlike compression compression devices A) which are pretty simple to work on if you can't get up, and B) which blow off the water if you can't control them. It was installed in about 30 seconds without leaks. You'll get more for your money than you thought.

Nothing works with nuts

There was a nut stuck to the tubing, which failed to screw. The device slides right on, so there's nothing to it. As far as I'm concerned, this thing will be pushed off my tube when I'm away from it. Using the hose will remove it, but I might damage it and have the nut ripped out. I might toss it and try to use an 8-ball.

I managed to use a pressure regulator on the drip system that did require a filter. A couple of times per year, I adjust them slightly for proper coverage, but I'm happy with the exact radius I like.

Easily Disconnected while WeedControl is on

The best solution available and I highly recommend it. Some connector pairs are available by ordering the ones with the male and female characters. It makes it quick and easy to disconnect equipment for weed control ll save you a lot of time later!.

Irrigation tubing are held together with a thread that they cut across the bare plastic ends. There is no need for great force. The ship is holding really well so far. I find this to be one of the most frustrating aspects of the fitting process. Each part has been taped around by sticky tape.
