The pump is designed for the battery-powered "Trojan watering system." It doesn't matter which cart the batteries are in - it'll still work. What makes a difference is the trojan-specific connection to which it mates.

It works with the 2017 Trojan Hydrolink battery one-point system in my 2011 Precedent.
The other fitting, which I already had, is what you'll need. If my memory serves me correctly, there are others on Amazon that have both.

A pump was required for a newly purchased golf cart with a built-in fill system. Pump performed as expected. I plugged it into the fitting, poured a gallon of distilled water into the other end, and squeezed away. Because it didn't stop when it was full as expected, a couple of batteries overflowed. I gave it four stars because the price is outrageous for what it is, but it is required if you have a fill system because of the fitting. It is a 5-star product in terms of quality. They may only charge you ten dollars, but they will hose you because of the fitting. The pump would spend the entire day in the dollar store if it didn't have that connector. I needed it, so I had to pay for it. However, the seller was fantastic. They arrived quickly and at a reasonable price.
The pump does a great job of keeping the golf car batteries topped up with water. It's a lot better than the old car's method of removing the caps and funneling water into each cell. A monthly battery water check is no longer put off due to the inconvenience.

When "resistance" is felt, you're supposed to stop pumping the water. It only takes a little practice to realize that word is subjective. In any case, it's a lot easier than prying the caps off all those batteries.
By far the most effective method for keeping batteries charged is to do so. Of course, you'll need to install the hydrolink kit on your batteries first, so there's no mess or guesswork.
The item arrived in perfect condition. It appears to be of a high standard. It worked well for me the first time I used it. This is something I strongly suggest.
