I ripped right through the tape within one use of my Ohio bar.
There is no need to trim on the sides, just on the ends since the Jcups have rounded ends. It was very sticky on the sticky side, so I took my time when applying it, laminating it evenly and removing any air bubbles. Power racks are less likely to get scratched when using this tool. After using my Matador the first time, scuffs appeared on the rack so I applied this and it completely transformed the rack. definitely a good investment when it comes to keeping your investment in top form.
