As far as heat resistance is concerned, I cannot attest to its strength, but it did peel, cut, and stick well, and it did not It is a good choice for sealing battery packs because of its width of 4".
An awesome tool in any 3D printer's toolkit, this tape is ideal for printing thin walls. The tape provides excellent printbed adhesion for PETG filament - I've usually had trouble adhering my PETG filament to the bed - but not anymore Glue sticks and hair spray are no longer necessary. The tape adheres nicely to the filament (clean it by wiping with isopropyl alcohol if it gets dirty during application), and prints come out with a smooth and glossy finish. My 3D printer glass plate looks amazing with this heat tape. It doesn't adhere as well to some surfaces, like metal, as I would like, but it works well lining my 3d printer glass. I haven't been able to get PETG to stick to anything (including painter's tape) when I have used it. It doesn't quite make PETG stick like magic, but I've found it to be helpful nonetheless. With the thinner tapes, a heat block can be wrapped and a silicone boot can be snugged up by it.

Definitely a great product! It is thick and has a strong adhesive, as well as a proper heat resistance. This material will not burn and can withstand very high temperatures for a very long time before it will distort.
