There are 5 different size packages of top-quality high-temperature tape in the package which can be used for many DIY projects such as masking, soldering, electronic repairs, as well as electronics design.
Five rolls in a variety of width are included in this value pack, including 1/8", 7/32", 1/4", 15/32" and 25/32". It can be used in a wide variety of projects because it is flexible and convenient
The heat resistant is easy to use and performs well. A strong silicone adhesive allows it to stick easily, and no residue remains after peeling
Fit your needs Wide range of temperature up to 280°C (536°F). It can be used to protect electronic products, motors electric motors, solder, paints, packing, and to print PCB boards.

Questions & Answers

Do you know how many total feet there are in total?

There are 36 yards in each roll, as described in the description. Considering that I haven't run out of mine and have been using it for a long time, I'd say that's probably accurate.

Does this roll have a core of what size? Can you tell me where the roller dispenser opens?

No idea, but it seems to be the same size as a roll of packing tape or masking tape

The dryer vent screen can be used as a replacement for a broken cover inside a broken dryer vent?

No adhesion exists between this tape and any surface.

How can I find a tape dispenser that works?

The one I ordered holds two rolls at a time, and is attached to a tachometer This multipurpose desk top tool is designed to fit on any desk There is a dispenser that rolls tape

It's not a terrible day
3/5

I wouldn't call it fantastic either. There is a Hakko website where you can get better products for a little less, as it is on sale at the time. That is the reason this gets 3 stars and not 5. As long as you do not mind thin tape, the thickness is okay. There is no heat transfer - it is heat resistant As a result of 300°C being applied to the tape, it will not deform, smoke, melt, catch fire, or so on. During testing it looked as though there was any liquid on the underside of the tape ( I covered a hole so I could see what was happening to the underside and so the item wouldn't act as a heatsink ) but this is thought to be just It doesn't stick at all when it's hot -- And it's a great way to heat things up However, when I applied the tape to the item ( the blue Hakko aluminum tip tray that holds 12 tips and is sold for about $17 USD - the tray holds 12 tips - I noticed that it did not stick. The two I have worked on so far ) initially it seemed like the heat helped the glue stick where it didn't stick It is the adhesion that is the most problematic. Even with a little finger oil on most tapes, it doesn't affect them at all In the case of these, it does not. There's now no use for the entire zone in which it was exposed because just a tiny bit of oil can ruin it. In other words Due to the fact that you have to handle this tape with tweezers, I'll have to purchase some tape dispenser that prevents the tape from being exposed to air before I use When you unroll the tape and try to tape up a wire, it is extremely difficult, especially in tight spaces. It sticks well to itself, and it sticks well to the roll itself, too. You should not tape large flat surfaces with some texture, such as the top of a PCB with Surface Mounted Components or exposed test spots in an SMD board. This solution works quite well in that case. In addition, it is easy to stick to plastic surfaces. There are, however, some places that you must remove as soon as you touch them with your fingers, as the tape will just not stick after the slightest amount of oil has been applied. My personal preference is to keep my hands as clean as possible, but the oils are natural and it doesn't matter how many times you blot with paper towels or clean with rubbing alcohol before you use the tape - it doesn't matter. A small amount of oil will remain, and this will transfer to Although handling the tape with tweezers can be difficult, it can be done, but it would help if the tweezers were wiped clean with your finger to eliminate dust, etc. There is an issue with adhesion then. As you can see in the image, I grab the tape using the orange tab so I don't touch it at all, and that works fine for me, but I lose a lot of control when handling the tape, which I would like to have. When you use the orange tap, a little bit of tape is left over after each use, so it builds up in thickness with each use. After all this, I can see usage for each size, although a wider one would be easier to control and could be cut widthwise instead of lengthwise therefore, if you are not sure what size you plan on using, I suggest the wider one over a narrow one. Actual wires must be taped Please do not. It is recommended that you use heat shrink tubes with glue built in. There may be no way to avoid the tape sticking to wires because of tinning, flux, or by-products of the soldering process, or because I did not clean the wires after because there was not enough room to do it without submerging it in water. It would be a poor idea to do this with anything involving wire coils, caps, etc. Sealing SMCs, etc. , is not an option. In my experience, it hasn't caused any problems as long as the proper drying process is followed Also, it's usually a good idea to use rubbing alcohol to displace the water and evaporate it), but with wires the water has a lot more places to go and it won't be able to be removed, and that will only lead to more problems down the road. If a solder joint becomes cloudy, it should be cleaned Because the internal structure is good, this is not a big deal. As a result, I give it a rating of 3 since it does have some uses and sticks well to certain For the use cases shown, I think I would buy conformal coating, or a better product. I can see the Hakko site has a variety of products at incredibly low prices right now - check it out! There is anti-toxin in my system I've used it with static tapes, this type of tape, and other types, and it appears to perform better than this stuff for close to the same price (actually less since it comes in various formats).

The heat resistance is a few points down simply because the adhesive allows heat to get through, while the tape fails to do so. A little bit of natural oil on your hand ( no matter how little there is ) causes a loss of adhesion. Exposure to the air and a small amount of dust renders the adhesive ineffective within a short time. There is a good thickness to the material.

I would not recommend buying this item- Any surface it is applied to is ruined

I don't know what to make of this tape Heat sensitive tape leaves a sticky residue on everything, exactly the opposite of what it should Half a dozen mugs have been ruined by me, so I will return them. However, don't risk the hassle and don't buy from me again.

You can read reviews here! As a general rule, I read reviews of everything I buy

It turned out that I ordered a product that looked very similar to the one I meant to order. I have never had such a bad experience with tape! Over the course of time, I have completely destroyed almost a dozen mugs due to residue and Apart from leaving sticky residue, the tape also leaves yellow staining, which is impossible to scrub off (to date). Next week I will try paint thinner to (hopefully) salvage my nice mugs. This is the WORST product I have ever owned. There is nothing to be proud of on the part of the manufacturer and/or This is such a disappointment for me.

Tapes like this do not serve a useful We are wasting our time by playing this tape
3/5

The object does not stick to anything. Strength is not a property of adhesive. While I cleaned the surface with Acetone to make sure there is no dirt or grease on the surface, the tape refuses to adhere. There is too much rigidity to the tape compared to what one would expect from a mechanical Intended to use this for some other purpose than the one I purchased it.

This product works well for sublimating mugs, etc
5/5

It can be easily removed, and it sticks well. As I recall, the rolls are oversized and I would have to use a special dispenser for them, something I should have known when I bought Besides the dispenser, if you're a clueless newb like me, I'd also recommend getting a couple of the batteries. The fact that you have to fuss with the tape while trying to lay your designs neatly around on your surface means too many chances for errors.

Sublimation is possible with this film

This tape has not caused me any problems. I have not had any problems with sticky residue leaving on my items and the sublimation paper holds on nicely.

There is an awful smell coming from this heat tape! This tape has an extremely bad smell, which is the only reason I gave it a low rating
3/5

My heat tape has never had an odor in all the years I have purchased it. The press does the job, but I need an oven with serious ventilation, whether I'm using it under a press or in one. However, I tried letting it sit outside for offgassing, but I had no luck. The only effect it had was to smell up my porch.

Are there any orders on it? These tapes do have one problem, the smell of urine, but the smell does not contaminate the garment or whatever you are using them on
4/5

Other than that, they work wonderfully. As far as quality is concerned, the smell will not affect the.
