This gaffer's tape is incredible. I've always used duct tape, but this gaffers tape is so much better that I'll never buy another type of tape for indoor dry repairs again. My dog ripped apart her cotton and polyester dog pillow, so I used gaffers tape to hold the 6" tear together. It's been 6 weeks since it's been repaired! If I hadn't seen it for myself, I would never have believed it. br>I've used gaffers tape to repair plastic and leather upholstery, as well as wooden objects. It did exactly what I needed it to do, clung to my skin incredibly well, and left no residue when I removed it.
It's a nice product, but I wish it was a little stickier/tackier. On our church carpeting, the edges lift up in a few places. br>br>Recent changes - The tape had left residue on the stage carpet after two weeks, which I discovered today. It left a thick white residue on all the cables it came into contact with as well. It was a huge letdown. I'll have to dismantle everything and start over. Bummer.
My go-to product is gaffer's tape. If duct tape isn't working and gorilla tape isn't cutting it (due to the residue it leaves behind), there are a few other options. I've tried a few different brands, but Polyken has always been the best, and I highly recommend it for any task that requires a strong, long-lasting tape!.
This tape is great for sticking down the edge of area rugs to prevent tripping hazards. I recently had surgery that required the use of a walker, and this tape does a great job of sticking down carpet to keep either the walker or my shuffling feet from catching the edge and falling.
It's clear that the tape isn't working. brand. br>During delivery, the tape warped. br>It doesn't stick very well, but it does.
It works well for me. I work as a Technical Director in a professional backstage theatre, and I use this tape to label my tools and for different projects. There is no residue and the tape adheres well; it feels and functions like good gaff tape. There are many fake gaff tapes on the market, but this one is good!.
I'm a photographer who works for a living. I photograph both in the field and in the studio. This tape withstands my strenuous day, tears easily with my fingers, and peels away cleanly. The pink color is accurate to the photo, but it could be a little brighter. Great hi- The cloth weave is study and can withstand wall mounting flashes or pocket wizards, as well as high traffic marks on the floor and cable binding.
