I've been using it on 25,000 books for several years. And, as far as I'm aware, they're acid-free. br>My issue, as well as that of many others, is that they only come in standard sizes. br>I'm waiting for one of the distributors to assist me and provide excellent customer service as well as obtain them in all sizes.

I've tried cheaper tapes before, and they fall off, peel off, are difficult to rip, and so on, which is why I paid $18 per roll for this tape. It came undone in the same way that the cheap tapes did. I've never had a problem with Shurtape before, so it's possible that it's a batch issue. Alternatively, it could have been sitting in an Amazon warehouse for far too long, according to my theory. When tape is exposed to the elements for an extended period of time, it loses its adhesion. As you can see in the photos, when we applied this tape to our sets, it peeled up like paper after being painted. We used it in the same way that we would any other piece of equipment. It failed miserably, just like the rest of the gaffer's tape. I'm thinking about buying Shurtape again, but this time from a local store. Amazon is not one of them. I'm a little concerned about how long this tape had been sitting around- also backed up by evidence that the shrink-wrapped The wrap around it had lost its malleability and had to be peeled off in sections, which is another sign of old plastic or heat-damaged plastic.
This appears to be one of the most popular gaffers tapes among gaffers on LA film sets, which is why I chose it over the other brands! So far, I prefer it to Hosa and ProGaff, which I've used extensively in the past. First-time gaff users should be aware of the following: You should be aware of what you can and cannot stick to. Originally purchased to repair the spine of a notebook (the tape texture was nearly identical), but have since learned of the many other applications for gaffer's tape. It works great and rips into nice lengths. If you don't need the entire 72mm width, use wise strips without tunneling or tapering. This is an extremely large roll of tape.
Years ago, when I was in film school, I used genuine Gaffers tape. I'm no longer making film shorts, but the tape came back to me! This isn't it, but it's a good substitute for it in the home - The adhesive is excellent and leaves no residue. We'll see if my trust is earned in a month's time when I'm removed. However, the price is reasonable, and the service has been satisfactory thus far.
I bought this tape for a valve cover paint job I'm doing on my car. Because the lettering is raised, I needed something that was simple to work with. Strongly adhering cut tape Unlike the masking tape I was trying to use, this tape cuts beautifully without losing adhesion or tearing.
It still doesn't leave a residue (at least not in my experience), but I'm not going to buy any more.
Even after 15 hours in 90°F temperatures, it is still adhered and easily removed with no residue!.
