This tape is in good condition. It's not exactly a blunder in my opinion. I've done set work in the G. E depts, and this isn't true gaff tape that can be reused. For starters, when the roll is placed on its side, it leaves a residue that sticks to surfaces. This is not the case with filmtools' standard 2" gaff. It's fine; it still rips correctly and is suitable for minor tasks. Despite the adhesive on the tape roll's side, the tape's actual stickiness is, in my opinion, a little weak. If you're looking for genuine expendable gaff tape, this is the place to go. If you're paying $18 per roll, don't expect to get 2" gaff. Instead, look for micro gaff, which usually comes in a 4-pack. pack. I had hoped that this would be it in a single roll, but I now regret not purchasing the genuine article.

It's quite effective. It's what I use to make the orange tips on my son's airsoft guns wider so they don't look so real.
This is something I'm now putting on everything. I put orange tape on my phone to make it easier for me to find it - It's also got a nice grippy texture to it. I also put it on my remote control so that the batteries don't fall out if I drop it and I can find it more easily if I do. It has a really nice, non-traditional feel to it. slip.
