ISC 3500 Jessup Safety Track: 2 in. x 7-1/2 ft. (Black)

In purchase of this product, I intended to use it on the side of my motorcycle's gas tank (Triumph Sprint ST) for traction on my legs while braking and cornering. My goal was to make sure the grip tape would conform to the contours of the gas tank and look good. To do this, I used strips of adding machine paper to make templates for how I wanted the grip tape cut. It was very easy and accurate to cut the tape with scissors. By applying the tape in lengths of ten It was hard to get 12 inches to fit. Because the adhesive adhered strongly and immediately to the paint on the motorcycle, I had to be very careful lining it up before application. Despite the messy appearance, the final result is functional and acceptable. I feel better when I ride now because the grip is better. Despite its position being fixed, the tape does not move during playback. We have used it in both hot and cold temperatures, and it has lasted through a little bit of rain as well. The texture I avoided was gritty and sandpaper-like Even the rubbery surface on this tape is scratching up the leather a little bit. I didn't want to use grip tape on my leathers because my leathers wouldn't be damaged. Even if it doesn't shred it like gritty stuff, at least it won't ruin it. In addition to the grip tape I used on the legs of a large sofa to help it not slide on the flooring, I also stuck bits of this tape to the bottom of the legs. In this application, the adhesive did not hold the tape in place for more than a few weeks. Tape that had been applied to the bottoms of the legs seemed to have come off laterally. Assuming the adhesive doesn't want to bind properly to the plastic bottom surface of the legs, I think it has something to do with the adhesive. As my dog became more and more afraid of the stairs, he started running down them. While a puppy, he had fallen down a flight of stairs and was unable to get a good grip. It took me less than two hours to measure, cut, and round out 14 pieces for my staircase and apply the product, including going over it with a heat gun to ensure it was securely bonded. If you are going to use any adhesive product, you should prepare your surfaces adequately and I found applying a little heat helped secure the tape and make it more visible.

The topmost speaker and both the bottom speaker fell right to the ground whenever they moved. I didn't notice the Jessup Safety Track was so thin, and now that it is flat the Atmos seakers act like they are glued to the main speaker cabinet they are resting on. Nevertheless, they are NOT and can be picked up easily without slipping due to the fact that they are not slipping away at the slightest Besides knowing that the coefficient of friction (sliding resistance) is extremely high, I have no idea what the coefficient of friction is. It works like a magic wand to stop items from sliding off polluted surfaces. Just stick it to the bottom of the offending item and it won't.

I am able to use it well enough for my purposes. The expected outcome was not what happened. It is a bit misleading to describe this process as being "rubberized". My search for rubberized tape was necessary because I did not want the gritty, sandpaper-like feel that I was already used to (like 3M Safe Step tape). The material I was looking for was soft and grippy so it wouldn't tear up the As far as I can tell, this is exactly the same thing as Sandpaper with a gritty surface - There's a sort of feel to it. We've always been scared to slip on the wood staircase down to our basement since moving into our house a decade ago. There has been a significant improvement in this tape. Since an installation of this product is so careful, it appears inconspicuous and you can see both the wood grain and the floor beneath There is no such thing as being invisible, so you will be able to see it, but it is not at all noticeable. It is difficult to see the quality of the product on the pictures. A roller is essential for a good installation. A J-grade has been assigned to me It is probably possible to come up with a good alternative from around the house if needed, but you will probably need a roller used for applying wood veneer in furniture making (search for "veneer J roller"). As you roll the adhesive out and make a good bond with the floor, you can see the adhesive going from opaque to clear. Prior to applying the tape, I used a Simple Green solution in medium strength to remove dirt and oils from the floor.
