The tread on our indoor garage steps is made of this material. The walkways are made out of wood, so they can be slippery in the winter when our shoes are wet to that trying to carry anything heavy into the house or making multiple trips (groceries) and we may end up falling. It is often challenging to get in and out of a vehicle when off-roading due to a variety of When you're walking on mud or water, slipperiness is one of the concerns. There are some rock steps/ side steps at the bottom of my stairs that are fantastic for getting in and out, but can be a hazard in the rain. In the same way as I have done with past vehicles, I will use the same solution There is no greater way to increase grip than with grip tape. The rails on each side of the vehicle extend all the way to the ends. In order not to have sharp corners that might catch and lift, I cut off the ends and rounded them. As well as marking the points where the rails attach to the tub mount, I also cut out the arcs. All in all, the fit is excellent. A powder coating that is textured sticks well to it. Moreover, it provides a non slip surface on which to put our feet.

Despite the purpose for which the tape is intended, it works quite well. Since it's only been a few months since I've had it, I don't yet know how long it will last. So far, it's serving its purpose as a traction aid well. My only reason for deducting a star is that I don't value the product By using a sticky double-sided tape, the results can be similar and still be much more economical I like to use three-sided tape (3M makes great tape) and really rough sandpaper (think 36 grit and lower). To put it simply, this goesrilla tape is just that The best way to smooth out that bump is with really rough sandpaper and Despite how much it sticks, this tape does not feel as tenacious as the adhesive found on Gorilla duct tape, or other Gorilla products, like their other tapes. Nonetheless, I haven't been able to take advantage of it yet. You need to be careful about what you use to cut this This sandpaper is very rough, and you will therefore need to replace it regularly It was very easy to cut using a disposable blade utility razor.

The texture of this tape is rough and abrasive, so for me it would be best used outdoors If I were barefoot on this, I might not want to do so in indoor or bathroom settings therefore, I am curious why some people choose to use this material It seems that those people are more manly than me.

It's for a ramp I am building for my small dog that requires this tape. It's not unusual for her to sleep on the couch, but it makes my back and neck sore, and I have to pick her up all the time. As she is adorably cute but not the smartest, she is finding it difficult to climb the ramp. It was extremely easy to use and the adhesive is very strong. Two ways proved to provide good grip for this. As soon as we applied the sticky side, it stuck to our boat deck perfectly without shifting or bubbling. There is no indication that the adhesive tape will lose its grip at any time. The side of the tape that bites into shoes makes for a really slippery surface. It is resistant to wear and tear. They don't break off because they are embedded in the surface. My favorite boat for good footing is this one. I have spent a lot of time on boats. Unlike some tapes that merely appear to offer slip resistance, this one actually provides excellent protection, in my opinion. This is just me, though, so that's fine.
