As good as friction tape, but with better performance
5/5

My first observation is that it's not the same as eGrip material as I had hoped, even though it didn't assure me that it would In order to grip perfectly smooth surfaces at super steep angles, it isn't the kind of thing that can miraculously grip. Such things aren't always as reliable as they claim to be, and again, the performance isn't exactly what it claims. This is a soft rubber substance that is almost smooth and has tiny little soft spikes on the surface that provide good grip. You cannot feel or see much grip on it when you lightly brush your finger over it, and it does not feel aggressive when Then it becomes something which you will not drop and won't slip out of your hands regardless of how much grip you have. In addition, the rubber layer is fairly thin and flexible, so it's perfect for wrapping handles or adding a layer of grip to any surface without Trying to fold it around a corner does not cause it to peel off by itself. In fact, there is a thin layer of some kind of threading below the rubber, so it won't rip apart when you cut it (you'll need scissors or a knife to do it). The adhesive on the back is made by 3M. It's a really good A mirror was attached to some of them- It was not easy to peel off that polished piece of steel, so it will probably stick to almost any surface even if it has even a slight This stuff comes off of the roll with wax paper backing because that is the only way it can stay attached to the role. Using this method is really convenient since you can do a dry run to determine the exact length and shape you will need first, then cut it as desired before peeling it off the wax paper and sticking it to where you want it.

"Grip tape" is not like the typical kind
5/5

There has been no comparison to the previous types of grip tape I have used, which are usually thin and have an abrasive surface usually used on skateboards and skateboard parts. This tape is so much better and If you plan to paddle a kayak or use anything else that needs maintaining a grip, especially in wet conditions, then you should carry the following. My snow cat has a frame around its engine that can be quite slippery when a little diesel fuel or oil is I really like the way it works. Although this type of tape is extremely costly, it justifies its price on being significantly more advanced than other types. The same thing has been installed on a 40 pound icebreaker and it provides the benefit of absorbing painful shock during Several schools in our city use grit to keep their children's doors from squeaking when at the curbside. We will apply it next to the bottom of our cars' door sills, which can be slippery when the kids step off snow. It can be applied in so many ways.

What is the grip on a kayak paddle? The first half of the day has been great! There is no mention of prolonged exposure to water in the product details, which mention grip and oil resistance "in dry and wet conditions
5/5

". The grips of my kayak paddle are torn, so I decided to use grip tape to fix them. I've had no problems with it so far! I no longer have to worry about the tape peeling off the aluminum handle. Despite not having a chance to use the paddle yet, I devised a quick test by running water over it and letting it rest in a shallow pool of water in my tub for a few minutes. My test tape is still attached just as well as before, and even though the product wasn't specifically rated for this, it passed quite well. All the remaining portion will be kept with my tools so that it can be applied if needed. Although the price is steep, the product is of high quality. * But I'm just an individual.

The grip on this product is comfortable and works well
5/5

There is no problem with the Grip Hero tape. As long as the grip is just right, I am able to use it in hand gripping situations (but not for steps). On soft hands, the grip material is not so aggressive that it feels hard. My elderly mother, who is on a fixed income, used this method to repair slippery control knobs on a washing machine. With the Grip Hero tape on her finger tips, she was able to grip and push or pull the control knobs without hurting her skin (the skin on her fingers has become incredibly thin over the years). When applying Grip Hero tape, I was able to get great results on multiple surfaces such as hard plastic, painted metal, and stainless steel as long as the surface was clean and very dry. The Grip Hero tape is expensive, and you would be out of luck if you wanted to use it for high volume uses (like steps). In my experience, I have found the tape to be a reasonable value, since I primarily use it for hand grip situations. It takes a little to make a big difference.

For those with weak grip strength, this feature makes using tools easier
4/5

This made a huge difference for me after I wrapped it around a screwdriver handle I'd been having trouble using because I couldn't get a tight enough grip to use it properly. It was a little difficult to wrap around without it bunching up in spots, but you're always going to encounter this with every tape. The first time, you cannot get the position right. But you can reposition it if you don't quite get it right.

You can use this tape for a lot of different things
4/5

For many months of the year, it is quite rainy and slippery outside where I live in Seattle. My husband and I decided to put this tape on our stairs to help keep them from slipping in the winter months. The application seems to be doing an adequate job so far. As it often gets wet in our fish pond, it is difficult to use when extended all the way out. I also used it on our pond net for fish. There is no doubt that it is helping. The tape has many purposes - I've used it for many things You do get a lot out of it, but it is a little pricey. The role on my stairs was easy for me to complete. Nevertheless, you might be able to extend the life of the pole with a few smaller items such as the wrench, etc.

I expected it to provide grip, but it didn't
4/5

As for the grip tape, I got some to try and am considering using it on the fenders of my car trailer to provide a little more stability when I am walking on the vehicle. The tape appears to have excellent adhesion and is not showing signs of peeling up, however, the grip isn't what I expected. It would have been better if the tape had more grit for better traction, but this is still an improvement over wet steel before the tape was applied. The tape will give you greater grip when you use your hands, without being painful. I think it would be good for almost anything where you need more grip.

I find this to be very useful
5/5

Rather than using the grip hero no slip tape for a common purpose, I ordered it to use for something else. In my tree stand (which I use for hunting), the seat is made of tight mesh plastic material. Winter made the ice very slippery as it got colder. I am about 20' above the ground, so this was not a good idea. Besides sticking well to the plastic material, the tape stretches when the fabric does as well. The seat no longer has the slippery quality it used to have. Although I don't have a clue how long it is going to last since it is being used outdoors, I have enough tape to apply it every year if it is needed.
