It is not a good idea to use this on wheel studs! In that case, you will stretch your studs more than normal before achieving the torque setting you normally use. Studs that are stretched are more likely to fail early. In addition, since you might have stretched the stud a bit after reaching whatever torque specification you were going for, you might have placed more pressure on the wheel holes themselves, possibly resulting in cracked wheels.
It is true. needs to be applied to the rubber sleeves over the bolts only (not to the calipers all at once). Among the high temperature greases made by 3m are those that are used on The "Car Guy" Eric on you tube has an excellent explanation of changing brakes, and he also shows the process on video.
My memory of the old copper lube formula is not good, but you can find its safety data sheet if you search for it. These copper lubricants' main ingredient must be copper since they are copper lubricants. It is possible that 3M will modify its complementary ingredients over time. It is possible that the old formula is more effective than the new formula. Nevertheless, it would be extremely difficult to find any scientific evidence to support this. In order to keep the caliper pins clean, 3M 08946 Clear Silicone Paste is used. Having not used copper Anti seize before, I believe it can be used on the back of the brake disc and the sliding areas of the calipers

There was this loud vrake on my homestead that would chatter down the road, killing any bird that flew by. Wham. Bought it, applied it to my brakes, and it was all good. Thousands of miles away, it's quiet, so quiet that a mouse fart can be heard. Keep your hands warm by wearing.
On the back of my brake rotors, between the hubs and the rotors, I used this to keep them from rusting In addition, it was used to lubricate the brackets on which the brake pads slide. Four months after the installation and no problems thus far, brake pads have not seized and anti-lock brakes aren't sticking It appears the seize hasn't spread to the brake rotor. I don't feel this is a reason to give it a poor mark since it is pretty messy to use with the built-in brush but grease is grease so I don't see the point. Then I applied it with my finger instead of a brush so that it would be more even across the surface.
I drive a Jeep Liberty 2007 and a Toyota Prius 2010. A year or so from now, I will be performing the 2005 sububran. I've used this before and haven't experienced any issues with stuff getting stuck, binding, backing out, or melting. It also keeps breaks quiet and keeps rotors from sticking to hubs. The anti-seize lube from 3M works very well. It works great on metal-to-metal brake parts or anywhere that'll need to be protected against corrosion. It is not for rubber or plastic parts, you might want to use a silicone lubricant instead as it won't swell them. PRODUCT IS A GOOD PRICE AND PRODUCT IS A GOOD PRODUCT.
The ability to last a long time. Design dictates that the brush should be bent. There is supposed to be a bend at the end of the brush attached to the cap. In addition to allowing easy removal of the product as the jar becomes more and more empty, this also minimizes product spillage.
