This is the inside of a 2-story house 3" on the outside, 1 1/4" on the inside Three eighths inch
Measurement will have to be done later today, which I can do. A 2 5/16 diameter is what I think is the inside diameter. It is the same size as the bun port on a 55 gallon drum that goes on the top of a military gas can.
They have swelled a bit, but I don't know what they are made of. There aren't enough of them

They may be cut down to be used as nozzle and spray I think these gaskets for jerry cans are pretty good. Old USMC Blitz jerry cans were used as a container for them. A crack or a hole had appeared in the old seal. It was for the cap that I bought the gasket. In general, they are about twice as wide as the spout or nozzle needs to be. In the case of the nozzle, you can't just use them without modifying them. Using a gasket that already existed as a template, I traced around it. Once I had it cut, I carefully made sure it was the correct size. In terms of nozzle performance, they seem to be pretty good. There are a few drops that make it past the gasket, but it isn't While it might be better to buy the ones made to fit the kitchen sink spout, it was still a better deal for the price.
It took me only a few minutes to cut them to size. This is not exactly the same as a spout gasket, but it is close enough to be used in government applications.
There used to be gaskets available locally, but I haven't been able to locate any. Since I have multiple gas cans, it is a much better deal to find these in such a large quantity.
I love how tight and thick they are, and I think they're great.
