ROMAN Products 10301 PRO-977 Ultra Prime White Wallpaper Primer, 128 Fl Oz

The label says that it contains zero VOCs, but it smelled like death and even with an N- I gave it an F As long as I wore the 95 mask, I felt like I was getting sick from the fumes. The smell is extremely strong and toxic. There must be some way to accomplish that. However, it was still not pleasant to smell even after drying, but the majority of the smell faded after a few hours. Since I applied the wallpaper six days ago, I have let the room air out all day every day the first day with windows open and a fan, followed by applying the wallpaper the second day and sleeping in the room for a few more days after that. Although I'm not sweating much, I'm still able to detect the strong perfume of this primer. It's nowhere near as strong as when I first applied it (I was virtually choking despite an N95 mask) but it's After so many days, this smell seems unlikely to disappear with an air purifier. I am sleeping with it in the hope that it will remove some of it, but if it continues, I am not optimistic. It smells terrible and I think that the scent does not completely disappear after an hour. If you are sensitive to smells, this primer will not work for you. It would have been better had I known to forgo the primer and applied the wallpaper directly to my wall using the pro 880 paste. Neither the paste nor its smell were discernible.

A wall covered in oil-based paint or primer will never stick to the paper. In my days of searching for the perfect product, I could buy it locally, but no more unless I wanted 5 gallon size. This is information that is dying out, but thanks to The Wallpaper Lady's blog, I was able to find it and wanted to share it with you. Tuck this away so that you don't forget it! I don't recall seeing this years ago so don't lose I like this product a lot!! It was a surprise to me when I called Romans directly that they didn't.

New drywall is primed with this before wallpaper is applied. A smell did not come to my attention. With the help of a smooth roller, this product is applied quickly and easily. In addition, I made use of the ROMAN PRO-DA In order to install my wallpaper, I needed 838 paste. I am very pleased with the result!.
