Product Description

As a result of POP, bonds are enhanced to polyolefins (PE, PP), PTFE & fluoropolymers (Teflon), silicones, polystyrenes, and polyurethanes

The bond will speed up/quicken in near-term Faster and more convenient than temporary super glue or CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesive

It shouldn't be used as a primer for ABS, DAP, or polyamide

When applied/bonded at low temperatures this is great for improving bond strength

Please take note Spray Permabond POP into the adhesive rather than directly into the adhesive it is a spray-on adhesive. I'm on pre-order A treatment plan. Make sure the surface is sprayed.

Questions & Answers

I would like to attach two pieces of a divided polyethylene (HDPE to HDPE) product to each other. Is it better to spray both broken ends with cyanoacrylate adhesive and then add cyanoacrylate glue?

In this case, the primer should be applied to one surface and then the cyanoacrylate (CA) applied to the other. The bond will be virtually instant once the CA and POP primer are joined as the primer is intended to accelerate the curing process The primer will cure the CA as soon as you apply it to one of the primed surfaces therefore, you will not be able to bond them together. If you apply it to both surfaces, the primer will cure the CA instantly.
