You can use the cement to glue the pipe, but it's not used to clean the pipe. If you're trying to remove stains on cloth items, you can use this solution.

Luckily, Amazon is on hand to help. My wife's laundry room in my home has a well system and an old water softener/water filter system that needs to be replaced. A lot of PVC is visible. The PVC that I removed from the old PVC had purple runs and marks on it from when I installed everything 17 years ago. My goal was to do a much cleaner install without having to worry about I found this to be a great solution. It was just a matter of being careful not to miss a glue and primer connection without the purple marker to remind me. The purple primer would have been best if I were plumbing inside a wall or under a house, but this clear primer worked well for the job at hand.
As soon as this can arrives, it is sealed shut and can't A faulty product being shipped to you and you being told that it cannot be returned because it is "flammable" is unimaginable. The package was sent to me by mail, so it does not make sense why it cannot be returned in the same manner.
