A sort of backing appears after a while, and the glue oozes from the center. In an effort to figure that out, I pressed the glue stick into the gun and it came out from the nozzle (without me pressing the trigger). The glue fell down my arm as I was trying to figure it out. As a result of this burn, I have a scar As a person with a lot of experience with other glue guns, I have never experienced this problem before. am a big fan of gorilla products, but I was not impressed with this gun.
I knew they had made it, but nowhere seemed to distribute it. As I knew gorilla glue was so powerful, I figured that gorilla glue would be the clear winner for such a little and light item. I was right - gorilla glue is extremely powerful for such a little and light item. The heat is just very very intense so you must be careful. I have definitely burned myself a couple of times, but I was more clever than that and remembered the finger covers made with Mod Podge. One other thing that I wish to suggest, since I am going to buy another one because I left my machine on overnight, is that it does not appear to be working to the same degree as it did before, in fact it has changed completely. I cleaned the nose so any buildup would dissipate but it has not been as effective to ensure a strong hold for me so just make sure it's off and cleaned after every use, I just ordered another one but I love the quick hold.
