CCHUIXI Copper Foil Tape, 1/2 ” x 66FT x 4Rolls Conductive Adhesive, Double-Sided Conductive Tape to Guitar & EMI Shielding, Crafts, Electrical Repairs

Years ago, I tried a small roll of copper tape and it worked. Buying them through Amazon this year was the only option because I could not find them locally. Having been looking for a large roll with a wider height, this 2-inch by 66-foot roll was a great deal to me. Copper tape was of good quality and the packaging was good too. Beginning with each of my young fruit trees, I firmly wrapped a ring around their bases. My hands are always covered in snails all the way up high, eating growing leaves and blossoms every spring. What I find so frustrating drives me insane. As well as recycling cottage cheese or yogurt rings to put around my baby squash plants, I also made small squeeze bottles of Sluggo to use around my tender flowers that are usually eaten up by snails, despite being covered in the stuff. As of today, I have not seen any eating of the leaves on the baby plants (after 2 weeks) and I have not seen any snails on the young branches of the apple trees yet, even though I check the young branches Can you tell me how easy it is to use this tape? It is very thin copper and it is very difficult to work with, as can be seen from the middle photograph. When I try to lay it flat, it crimps and I can't get it to lay smoothly. However, since it will be located outside in the garden, I do not mind, as nobody will be paying much attention to it. To make sure you don't damage your copper, peel off about 1" at a time, since the backing is terrific to peel off, but the copper is a pain to remove. As a result of practice, I am now really good at making rings to put around my baby garden plants ( for this I cut a slit into the plastic ring) in order to make them more manageable. As I would need to cut the tape in half for each ring, I do not need to use the entire 2" length. This means that I get two copper taped rings for the price of one. The results I have achieved so far have been excellent. So far, there have been no snails on my pear tree or two cherry trees, which have had them every spring for the past four years. Next, I will try to put copper rings around the top of some new pots, to see if I can prevent snails from climbing down to dirt level inside. In terms of gardening, this tape is great, but it takes some time, so I'm going to be patient. they are my nemesis in life. The copper electric barrier I added to my raised planter bed and to some of my pots was a good idea. Two strips of copper tape are wrapped around the pot or around the raised bed legs to power the unit and it is powered by a 9 volt battery. What are you going to do? There are no more slugs with this stuff. . . and it is very simple to build and set up on raised beds and in Safe and effective, this device deters slugs from entering your yard. definitely would buy this tape again to use as a slug barrier. Slugs don't seem to be repelled by it. I live on the first floor of an apartment, and for the past four years the slugs have been crawling by the tens of millions onto my small porch. Our porch was filled with 10 slugs chilling out like they had no place else to go. The next day we checked our porch again and spotted another ten slugs. Apparently someone hooked up a 9 volt battery to the machine and that might have been more effective, but I will return this product for now.

I used it for three years and then had to replace the batteries. The battery's had been spot welded to the conductor strips and had to be disassembled with a small cutting wheel (DREMEL)* I was surprised that I found the battery for such a small price on Amazon. Those replaced were Li-ion batteries, which operated at 7 volts with the appropriate amp rating They were a very small piece and soldering them wasn't for me. As usual, Amazon delivered a copper tape that's conductive! The process was so simple I don't think I will have to solder ever A wire was wired on and the VIOLA LED light was turned on after I reassembled the solar unit. Thanks,.
