Changing the formula back to the original would be a wise move. Yes, it is important to use the whole tube, or at least half of it, within a couple of weeks of opening the seal.

There were 6 tubes in my order, and all of them were Almost all of the glue at the opening end was hardened and yellowed I had to cut off the other end to use what was still soft. There was over half of each tube of glue that was not usable. It's easy to find this glue at my local hardware store, and I don't have any issues with it.

My use of the adhesive is to attach plastic buttons to the back of ceramic ashtrays. However, it explicitly states that it can be used on glass and plastic. I tried it, and it worked. That was the only product that worked! I tried four others, but this was I also don't smell anything!.
