Questions & Answers
It's possible to use porcelain tile as well as cast stone, but I don't believe it will work.
As long as you are talking about gluing the rod holder ring to the tile, you will probably be okay. A good holding strength can be achieved with it. A mere tug might be enough to hold it up, but if you really tug on it, you might have to do it Taking the holder, I would put enough on the ring the holder goes into so that as the ring is pressed into place, a bead approximately 1/8 inch is forced out around the ring, and then tape firmly in place and leave for minimum 24 hours A minimum of 48 hours must pass before any sort of pressure or action is taken. Using a hot glue gun with clear glue to do the same thing as above will work great. And you won't have to wait for more than an hour if you use a hot glue gun with clear glue. You can then paint another coat on if the ring falls off after a while, without having to remove the old glue. Both methods may fail, so if neither works try roughing up the tile surface where the ring mounts to knock the shine off. It is best to use Hot Glue or other adhesive on a dull surface rather than one that is shiny. If you choose to use that method, you will need a hot glue gun and not the It is likely that both methods will eventually fail, but it will last longer if you can find a little foam or something to place at the end of the rod so that a minimum amount of pressure is being exerted against the tile both horizontally and vertically to compensate and reduce ensure that either bond will last for almost as long as possible. fail, it is usually due to a jerking action, or a vertical strip of sheer combined with a horizontal strip on the other hand, if you can place one or two horizontal pressures along the vertical, this will help make the bond last
This white is tanneous and does not look good in the sun.
Whether or not you need a caulking gun depends on whether you are using the cartridge shown in the image. There are some caulkings that come in a plastic tube that you squeeze from for small jobs, but if you are going to do caulking you will need The cost is relatively low, and I would recommend having two of them There is one caulk can and one glue can - Having both on hand will help you to make the best use of both.

My first experience with Loctite decades ago has improved dramatically over time. I can't believe how amazing this stuff is. It seems to grab firmly and immediately, but if you need to, you can still move the panel around a bit. Each panel in the shower stall was fitted with one tube.
As opposed to glue, this is what I use. A good example is. There are SO many ways to use this. I mount my toilet roll holder on tile, hooks on tile, shelves on the wall, and mounding. It will dry in the shortest amount of time. (Not days. ) A day later, if you decide to change it, you can peel it off, but otherwise, it will be tight and durable. I really like this stuff!.
Be careful, as glue sets quickly.
The glue is super sticky and fast to dry. Doesn't seem to care what surface you're on.
Good adhesive.
We paid money for this, but it was worth it!.
It worked great there was nothing that I did not like about it.
As it split half way through, there was a huge mess to clean up.
